Ridiculous pricing and marketing gimmickry in an area where far better shopping value is only a few minutes away. Products across the board in most examples are 20-40% greater than ShopRite. Produce priced way above common market price, though the quality appears good. Their pricing strategy seems to mirror that of the former A&P which it replaces after chapter 11, by selling far less units at higher margin & profit. I cant imagine them supporting themselves for very long in this climate. Shop there only for a few well priced advertised specials

Its going to be hard to get used to Acme after dealing with the A&P in this area for so many years. The selections and prices are different (higher prices, "different" selection, since Im used to the A&P name brands, etc). I feel like theyre in the process of establishing themselves after setting up, so Im hoping that theyll be doing better in the coming months (theyre already much more organized than when they were just opening, so this is a good sign).

All around terrible, there is a fishy odor that permeates the entire store. The employees all around seem very unhappy and the produce/meat selection is always lackluster and of poor quality. The prices for non-produce are also higher than their competitors. Very disappointing, I literally live around the corner from Acme and make the effort to go to the Shoprite in the Interstate Plaza instead.

Terrible selection of everything ranging from produce to meat and fish. Prices are horrible. Just shop local and if you need to get something from a grocery store save your money and go to shop rite in Ramsey, same quality but fraction of the price. Or amazon for that matter. Ill be surprised if this store survives until Christmas 2015.

Nice store, was clean, had a good selection. Prices are a little bit high on some things, so I couldnt do all of my shopping here, but I still like the store. Meat department is very good, fish department is OK, produce is good.

I find this Acme to be kind of dumpy, it also.always feels dirty. When you compare to the ShopRite in Interstate shopping center this ACME is only good for last minute things like paper plates and laundry detergent.

A little expensive, not the best selection, but usually not crowded and easy to do your weekly shopping. You have to buy your meat somewhere else as its more than twice the price of other stores.

Nice produce - a little pricey compared to Shop Rite. Some unique items. Lots of BOGO (buy one get one free or 50% off). Great cold cuts (Boars Head). Nice clean store.
