Although I have been racially discriminated against in this store and followed around (shopping while black) I have continued to support the store for the last eight years because unlike a majority of the stores in journal square, which employ their own race( Ex:Dunkin donuts,-Indian) (McDonalds-Hispanic) ,(C h Martin- Filipino) , this store actually employs African Americans. The managers in this store -one white man and a Hispanic woman are not people friendly and are rarely seen on the floor while you shop. Most of the African American women who Ive seen hold jobs at this store are constantly reprimanded by management and treated poorly and often overworked . The hardest working guy in the place is named Albert and he communicates clearly and effectively with the crew and the customers . I also like to thank the older Indian security guard for making me feel safe . He is constantly on the job patrolling the isles. I have witnessed him taking abuse from customers -( mostly female shoppers who trying to steal merchandise ). He does a great job and also takes the time to know whos who in the store.

This store sold me completely unusable and broken furniture twice. $40 for an $80 item is not a deal when the furniture is completely useless literally broken in half. A bookshelf and an end table both should have been unsellable. Their return policy was that if I opened it, then I couldnt return it?? Extremely poor customer service considering I couldnt know the items were broken without opening them since the boxes were sealed?

Most cashiers are not very nice. Maybe 1 or 2 are actually experienced in customer service. A cashier named Marisol is very racist and cruel especially towards white customers. I have been shopping here for 7 years and Im shocked that she still works here and is allowed to work here. Never coming back here again. It looks like its about to go out of business anyway.

I have seen some of things which have double price...1 curtain in dollar store is 1.99 but in goodwill 3.99...guys u need to think that all donation and for donation stuff ur charging double price and even the staff is very rude...plz do something for prices because the people who are coming they to buy even there r not rich...

Old school thrift left over from the days when most thrifts were filthy and disorganized. Ive been here twice and each time it reeked. What the heck man. Pickings seemed pretty slim and fairly raggedy. Its a thrift, you might strike gold so I wont tell you not to go there, but as for me never again.

I was amazing to find great items at this location. I got a pair of black thigh boots for $6 and jean shorts overalls for $4. However, the staff working at the time was too busy tending to personal issues, so I found myself waiting longer than necessary to pay.

An average thrift store in JC..The store itself is big and stacked with all different kinds of stuff. The staff was helpful and I was able to donate clothes without any hassel.
