Went today for first time with quite a few items to donate. Very surprised to see such a lack of interest from the people who work there. Absolutely no eye contact was made even with the person that did assist me in taking my donated items.Have yet to hear a hello, thank you or have a nice day. Any other place Ive donated I was offered a receipt, whether I wanted one or not. The workers are moving about as if they are trying to beat the clock or getting paid by the minute. They move about in complete disregard for the donors or customers . I obviously looked like I needed help and I received more attention from a customer who was waiting for his wife than from anyone who worked at the location. He pointed out a person who worked there that might assist me. I had planned on making several trips with donated items but doubt if I will be back to 266 - 5th Ave.

Clean, Organized, Good Lighting, Excellent Prices, Genuinely curtious staff. Something 4every1, Clothing, Art, Books, Jewelry, Furniture, Decor, knick knacks, Antiques, etc, Collectibles... sure u can find anything online these days but its the thrill of the hunt or stumble upon find! Profits from donations go 2 worthy cause! No Losses here. Only NEGATIVE 4me: Fitting Rooms-No Doors. Just Draped Fabric. But I believe Common Etiquette: people should know 2Knock 1st on a closed door & wait 4a response b4 opening. Let alone just swinging open a drape 2a fitting room. Btw that didnt happen here.

Trying to call this donation site is horrid. I spent over 300.00 on Chinese Temple jars (2 as a matter of fact) this past Saturday. Another donation came in and the volunteers were over whelmed. The item I want to buy was a religious planter for my new home in Florida. They told me I could not buy it. Today I called and staff clueless. Very disappointed and shocked. With the lack of help, knowledge, and annoyed replys.

A lot of great gems when it comes to furniture. Especially items in the window. But, you can purchase and pick up later if leaving right then with the item is an issue. Small selection of vinyl, housewares and a pretty good menswear section. the womens section can be picked over but when you hit, you hit big. Friendly staff and check the jewelry case on the way out.

Check this place often, especially if you are interested in furniture. The turnover is quick for sales and new materials come in often. The store is priced low because of this turnover rate. If you are headed anywhere fancy and need a tie, theyve always got something good in the mens department.

High level thrift. Housing Works fills the space between high cost consignment shops and super cheap Goodwill type thrift stores. I Found Jeans for $5 work clothes for up to 150 but all at deep discounts. Avg price 20-50 for label names.

Mostly furniture, can find some steals. Worth walking by frequently if youre looking for some signature pieces like trunks for coffee tables or fun chairs. Theres also clothes in the back that can yield some surprises.

Decided to drop in on a nice Saturday and found some good items. Reasonable prices and the young lady behind the register was very nice and helpful. Small but clean place and nice jewelry selection.

Not a large place by any means. Well choosen items, clean clothes. Prices are fair. But, it does come down to size. They have the location.

Rotating one of a kind goods. Can often find treasures amongst the eclectic items. For this reason its always worthwhile to drop in.

There were some good deals and a few hidden gems but mostly among furniture and art. The clothing selection was minimal.

Im always coming here to donate my clothes and stuff. Oddly however, they do not take board games anymore.

Looked appealing from the outside, but the selection is geared towards and older more mature style!

Really fantastic one of kind finds from clothing to home foods. Furniture is a bit pricey.
