I wish I could give a zero to this store and Best Buy as a company on the whole. Dealing with this company and their store is a real nightmare. First of all, the staff doesnt know what they are doing and make everything turn around in a vicious circle. I ordered a laptop memory at the store to be delivered at my address because they didnt have the item at the store. When the order was finally delivered, it turned out that it was for a pc! So I called their 800 line and someone just hung up on me. Then someone else spoke to a girl at the store and was told that I could return the item to the store and order the right one. When I finally got to the store, the girl said that I couldnt return it to the store because it had been shipped (but ordered at the same store by one of her colleagues!). So no matter what you do, you run into obstacles like in Alice Wonderlands fairy tale. When I called the Best Buy about my points, it turned out they had a problem with their website and couldnt open an account for me! And they said that they had this problem with many other customers! What kind of company is that? Is it because the owners are so cheap and pay their workers $8.25 an hour for a 25hr week that nobody wants to work for them? They probably dont even train their people but make them do some stupid tests called training - a common practice in those bs corporate stores. People should start boycotting those stores because you cant buy anything - one obstacle after the other which makes you very frustrated. I will never deal with this company ever again.

I purchased a $1500 computer from Best Buy last year. I took it back because the message upon trying to restore the system to the original cam as "Image corrupted:87". The answer from them was that this is a software problem, however they provided NO SOFTWARE DISK separately; which I would have gladly re-install myself. Now most computers come with the software packaged into a small partition, as the computer is used daily the original software is not safe from corruption anymore as with a DVD software. I think that when one spends $1500 on a PC that should include the software as well in a physical format. The Geek Squad was squawking nonsense... the OEM license by Microsoft states that a separate media copy of the software should be present with the PC. Very arrogant pups in that store, except one who is a neighbor of mine. I had to do it the hard way and call Microsoft who kindly send me a link to download the operating system so I can input the existing key I had with my PC. Shame on Best Buy who (under warranty) wanted $200 to restore the operating system... Shame on Asus who wanted to sell me the operating system (that I allready bought with the PC) restore for $50...

Literally the WORST Best Buy Ive ever been to in my life. At first glance, the place is littered with workers. You would think getting service is going to be no problem. But of course, almost all of the workers are lazy/stupid and they will make you go through loops just to buy items; theyll send you over to different departments for checkouts because they are too lazy to get the items for you/check you out. Ive waited in the store 45 minutes to buy a Macbook when the store was basically empty...This happened twice (bought one for my sister in the past as well) and on both times I had come in with my mind already set. Dont even get me started on the managers. I know bricks that can probably register coupons better than them. Dont tell me my trade in coupon doesnt work because I have "2 scratches" and that scratches are the same thing as broken screens. Its amazing how I had to get corporate to talk with these dumb managers to educate them on customer service, reading, and the definition of "cracked". The ONLY reason that I would consider even coming here is for the 3.5% sales tax.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I purchased a laptop online and did an instore pickup WHAT A DISASTER!!!...First the instore pick up person could not find the laptop behind the counter...after about 20 mins he opened the "other door" and I FOUND IT from across the counter...NEXT the box was opened and the laptop seal was broken. BEST BUY THINKS ITS OK TO SELL OPENED MERCH?!?! I wanted a new unopened box (silly me) it took ANOTHER HOUR to get this done. I dont blame the counter guy who was radioing for help from the beginning of the transaction. I BLAME THE MANAGERS...Specifically Simon (did not help, said it would be ok and walked away) and Claudia who was radioed from the beginning and she was only 10 yards away...She finally helped when she happened to walk on over...NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. WORST EXPERIENCE!!!! 3.5% sales tax not worth it

Went out Today to buy a memory card, in store pick up, couldnt find my memory card, after an hour of looking everywhere in the store by the staff ,they said sorry we dont have it. told the assistant manager Emily if i can get something with the same spec. but different brand , she refused to match the price.I told her that I drove all the way to your store for pick up, she said I understand but I can not do anything.called the corporate office and told them what happened. they apologized and promise to see what is going on ( i doubt if they even care)...Bad experience, bad customer service and bad management. I used to wonder why the store is always empty every time I go. Today I have found out why.

I love Best Buy in general and really like this store. I like the location, layout and in a plaza with plenty of free parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful at this store. I purchase many things from this site, including my recent Samsung Note 5 for Verizon Wireless. The staff was extremely patient and helpful as I was learning the ins/outs of the new mobile phone buying process. What an education I got that day! Thanks to all who helped, but I love my new mobile device and all other items I have gotten there. They are truly an electronics giant and I have had a love affair with Best Buy stores since they opened! Love me some Best Buy!!! ; )

like many places in Jersey City ghetto and staffed by the rude people who walk the streets of New Jersey. I came in here looking to purchase a new laptop and could not even get any help I even kept asking one employee did she know anything about the laptops and she told me she did not know anything absolutely absurd you mean to tell me you do not even know the colors size dimensions SOMETHING! you have to be a complete idiot to not know anything about a laptop in 2016 and being employed at best buy makes matters worse at least the people over at staples have knowledge these big box stores suck and, so do the employees working in them

The poorest store in the entire Jersey city area. Not a single associate is willing to help and nobody cares if the customer find what he is looking for. I came here asking for the Bluetooth transmitter for tv and asked the person at the reception, he just vaguely said that its somewhere at the back of the store. When I ask other guy he said that he doesnt know and he has three other customers to look for. And the third one said that he doesnt even know what is a Bluetooth transmitter is. HORRIBLE STORE. WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE. Im so annoyed that I am writing this review right here in the store. Never coming back.
