I had a lot of bitter experience here. Once I was at billing, I wasnt sure about a products prize. I asked her about the prize, she replied very rudely as if she is giving something free. Most of the cashiers are rude . They show their faces if we inquire about the price of any product. when I pointed it out that I was overbilled on another day, she was murmering that I was wasting her time for 1.5 dollers. Every shopping experience there, have given me a kind of insult in one way or other by those cashier women. This is just few of them. I would recommend to choose another Indian store.

If you have any self respect, you wont go to the store again... Really bad attitude of the owner. He thinks he owns customer. fool. When it is time to close the store... he literally switches of the lights so that you cant shop. He is arrogant.. Does not respond well. Try Patel Cash and Carry they are very friendly and cooperative yet very reasonable in price... I am not an agent from Patel brothers... I am just a genuine customer.. and it is a genuine feedback.

I had accidently left my credit card and it took them only 2 hrs to swipe it for ~1000 dollars. They are big cheaters. I agree the shop is good but not these guys. I always used to feel scary when paying the bills because the bill has no indiaction of what you bought and when you give the card they take it away to swipe it. I am saying i forgot the card because i am not sure if that guy did not give me intentionally. I will never visit there again.

I bought kaju burfi and opened it only when I came home. It was full with black fungus. So be careful when you buy expensive sweets from this store. I called the manager several times for credit, but always delayed answering my phone calls and has promised to give credit. When I get credit, will let you know. Also I found other stuff more expensive. Also the receipt on one counter was not clear with items purchased.

Today, I happen to visit sabzi mandi on my way back to CT. Had purchased Sona masoori popular brand. But when I came home I found a low grade rice in Sona masoori package. It was very bad experience and will never go back to Sabzi mandi because of this low standard gimmick of selling rice. I just had to throw that rice off now. Please check your bags before you purchase rice from this store.

Their are some racist people in Subzi mandi, they dont like Muslims, they look down at muslims. I still remember that day of Dec 25 08 punjabi women who was at the register at the Right handside corner that lady was rude to my mom and was acting very smart. I guess after all this no muslim should go to that racist Subzi mandi.

Indian groceries ad always been a pain, but sibce last yearbi am visiting Sabzi Mandi and i sort ofnlike doing jndian groceries. The veggies and fruits are fresh. They sell all the major brands and the aisles are well organised. The shop is pretty clean unlike the other indian grocery stores on the same street.

I was in NJ and bought 40 pound bag of zibra rice The bag reads buy two get one free Waited in line about 40 minutes and the cashier had to check the offer with the owner and owner refused to give that one bag free First of all it is illegal to do that how can you dishonour the sale from manufacturers?

The most reasonable and fresh Indian vegetables market in the Iselin/Edison area. $20 minimum to use credit card. Be careful though, milk, bread and other American products are ridiculously expensive. For better quality go south on Route 9 to Patel Bros store at Ernston Rd exit.

Definite stop when in NJ. They have all the items at reasonable price only cringe I have is associates are not very helpful specially towards someone who may not be local. My mother loves to stop by and get bulk groceries, and I pick up few personal items as well.

Subzi Mundi has literally everything you could need to prepare Asian dishes including imported fruits, vegetables, spices and other staples of Asian cuisine. They are always very busy, but their cashiers are lightening fast

Its a hit or miss. Keep an eye on the checkout agent they have a bad habit of double billing when youre not looking and count your items, a friend told me they drop some items on the floor to retrieve later for personal use.

A good quality Indian grocery store. They carry a wide variety of sauces and pretty much any spice you could need for authentic Indian cuisine. Great fresh produce section as well as a diverse offering of frozen items.
