Around mid September, I placed a 32" Sony TV on Layaway. At the time, since I didnt bring my purse in with me to the store, the layaway got placed in my fiances name. He and I live at the same address. However, I would be the one mainly having the time to come in and make the payments, so I asked would I encounter any trouble if I was the one making payments and coming to get the TV upon final payment and not him. They said it would be fine. Fast forward to yesterday. Since I was closer to there from my job than I was from the house, I decided to go straight to Walmart, rather than drive to my house to get the receipt to drive back out. Plus, since they told me it would be fine, I didnt get too worried. When I get there, there was five people ahead of me. There was only one person back there and he only knew how to do Site To Store. He didnt know how to do layaway, but I didnt know that until after I had waited 30 minutes for service. I got back in line. Another female came up who knew how to do layaway. He asked her to help him with the line. She acted like she didnt want to be bothered because she started to walk away but then she stayed to help. I had to wait another 10 minutes because she had to help the other guy find someone elses Site to Store Products. So I get to the counter. She asked to see my license. She says she doesnt see my name in there; I let her know that its under my fiances name and I verify the address. She proceeds to tell me I cant get the layaway. I told her I could understand if the addresses are different but they are the same. Then, she calls the supervisor and then the supervisor says I cant get it. Thats when I started to lose my patience and I requested that the supervisor come to layaway. The supervisor overheard on the walkie talkie and then started asking how much was left on the layaway; I guess since the supervisor didnt feel like coming to layaway, she told the lady to let me get the layaway. I make the payment and then wait. Ten minutes go by; they come out and asked me what type of TV it is. I tell them its a Sony 32". Then, they ask me if I was sure. I said I was sure. Then, they ask me if I was sure it wasnt an Emerson. Then, I show them the receipt they printed out that said Sony 32". As the lady and the helper went to the back, I heard one whisper that they thought they may have give the 32" Sony to another person when they should have given the Emerson because the Sony wasnt back there. Finally, they decided to get someone from electronics to grab me another TV because they couldnt find the one back in the layaway section. Ive had layaways at Wal-Mart before. Not this particular one, but at others. This is the WORST Wal-Mart experience I have ever had! I will never have a layaway at this particular location again. One hour just to get a TV! So disorganized and not customer friendly at all!

Lack of respect for their costumers, no customer service at all. This was without a doubt the worst experience we have ever had at a Walmart. We received text messages and emails that our site to store items where ready for pickup. So we drove the 30 minutes to run and grab our items (because we have never had it take more then 20 minutes to pick an item up). There was a small line, but it was moving for it being Christmas time. She looked up our order and found the second item right away (little item), but was unable to find the larger item (treadmill). She said it would be just a few minutes for them to get it out to us. Fast forward 30 minutes manager comes asks us our name and she goes to look for it tells us to go do any shopping we need to and come back they will have it ready. So another 30 minutes goes by still no treadmill and no clue where it could be. At this point they all are talking about this missing treadmill and how there is another one back there with a different name but it is the item I ordered. So after we have waited for an hour and 15 minutes the manager says to the kid working go get the tag off of the treadmill back there. (because she was going to give it to us and order another one for the other person). When she looked up their order they had not ordered a treadmill it was our treadmill all along it had been miss tagged. Then we continued to wait while they talk about who is going to go load this item in my car because it was raining a little bite. At this point we have waited for over hour and thirty minutes. Than we got home and unload it and got it out of the box treadmill was broken :( We tried call the Walmart to see what we needed to do but they would not answer their phone and when they did they would place us on hold, Needless to say we load it up and took it back to a different Walmart with much better customer service (Lumberton, NJ) to return the item.

look what can you expect its a low wage job but about 95% of the workers are good and take pride in their job. Let me say they are always priced lower then other place some of the costumers look like they came from another galaxy; but Im not there to look at aliens. But as far as the workers they know the job dont pay much but they need not be reminded of at least they are working and if they were not we would hear how why dont these bums get a job, to me they always been helpful from costumer service to checkout I believe if your a little nice to people who have a dull drum job they will treat you well amazing what even a little bit of kindness will do and if you dont like there are other stores and very close to get the same stuff just for a bit more $$. So try a little being nice it goes very far at least it works for me and I have a LOW Tolerance dealing with some people and will tell you but only if the kindness fails!!

Walmart, in general, have decent prices, but the automotive staff there are INCOMPETENT!!! i always get the MAXX batteries for their warranty for the last decade. This one time i had a size 24 battery fail in the 4 year mark, based on the date code 1/11. The incompetent auto service advisor didnt apply a "pro-rated" price towards a replacement battery & made my wife pay for the new battery IN FULL. Tell your staff the MAXx series batteries carry a FREE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY FOR THE FIRST 3 YEARS, THEN 2 ADDITIONAL YEARS OF PRO-RATED WARRANTY, BASED ON THE RECEIPT, OR DATE CODE ON THE BATTERY IF RECEIPT IS LOST! I will rather go north to the east windsor location or south to the burlington location just to avoid the automotive staff at hamilton. Yes, i did email corporate, which fell on deaf ears or blind eyes
