Ive been shopping here for a good time now ( 2 plus years now). Ive bought my PS3, my PS4 and plenty of games there. Their Customer Service is good when it comes to knowledge of products and future content. They are very kind and considerate of your personal space. Their store is of decent size and the location is fine. I had times where I couldnt find the product they were selling (Mostly because of shipping situations or it just sold out) but they were always on point in handling the situation by showing me the closest location that would hold the product and ensure that I can pick that product up. I would recommend this Gamestop over the one in Paramus as well as the one in Bergen Town Center. Both really dont show much to anything outside of how to make the sale. Hackensack is a very casual place to learn, buy and befriend fellow gamers

AWFUL customer service. Went in to trade accessories and JUAN, the disgustingly rude employee did not want to help me from the start.. He was asking where I got the gaming accessories from.. i said I worked in an after school and summer camp program.. Once he asked me to show him proof I worked in the camp (which there is no ID for) and when I told him that he plugged something into his computer and said I cant help you, next! I asked why he couldnt help me he said I dont know I just cant,, I proceeded to go to another GameStop in which there was no issue whatsoever. Get kinder employees GameStop because of him, I will be telling all the parents that go to my camp and school program to go to the GameStop in which had much nicer employees and not to your location.

Customer service @ this location used to be good, NOW it sucks! an Employee told me a sale was going on & to trade my Xbox 360 in to get $175 credit and reserve a new system, I erased all my Data off my HDD on My xbox360 made the trip ALL the way down there, waited in line for a half an hour because of a amiibo special, only to find out that the sales person was Wrong, the manager *Anthony* acted almost unconcerned. Whom reminded me that it was his "DAY OFF" as I stood on a not moving line???!!! .. This location is good for used games and hiring pretty girls that have no game knowledge or customer service skill.. TERRIBLE with info. NEVER TRUST THEIR SUGGESTIONS LIKE I DID!? I once liked this location... do yourself a favor and go to bestbuy......

I definitely didnt appreciate the joker behind the counter that thought it would be funny to laugh at me when I asked if they had a certain item for purchase I guess he didnt realize how many girl gamers there are out there and that we actually know what we are looking for when we walk into a game stop. A bit of advise for the employees that work there be more courteous to your customers and actually respect the people that walk in there instead of laughing and poking fun of someone from behind the counter.

Like every other GameStop around. This one has a friendly staff that seem to been around a while and knows whats going on. Cant really blame the associates working there for bad trade in value, thats just the company policy so dont take it out on the folks working there, they dont set prices.

10 old son purchased $50 Xbox card that was printed on thermal paper. By the time we went to go use it the pin rubbed off of receipt. I contacted store manager and he advised me that he could not retrieve or reprint pin. I find that hard to believe!! Extremely bad customer experience.
