I needed to get my daughter a safe, reliable car in a hurry and lucked Franklinville Discount Auto. Roger is unbelievably easy to work with, honest and helpful. Ive never dealt with a dealer like him. I called about a Civic he had for sale. He said someone was on their way to check it out. He texted me later that it had sold, but asked if I would be interested low mileage 09 Corolla he had just bought for about the same price. He sent me a screen shot of what hed paid for it and he was asking for less than $1000 over what he paid. Turns out he shows people what hes paid frequently. Went to see the Corolla after checking out a couple other cars on the way. Glad I did because the Corolla was in outstanding condition and ran like new. Other than paint chips on the hood from highway driving, there wasnt a flaw that I couldnt buff out. My daughter was in love and it passed my Aspergers/engineer/mechanic tests when we took it out for a drive. Only one problem. She needed the car ASAP and I the finance company had asked for information I couldnt provide with my cell and Roger hadnt gotten the title yet. Roger accommodated us and we were able to come up with a mutual agreeable deal that protected us both until we sorted out the paperwork. No fuss, no stress, no BS. Only charged $20 for the temp tag! The other dealer we visited charged $250 documentation fee for the same. Got home and researched the car online. Found out that I could probably sell it for what I paid. Great deal! Later when it looked like the title wouldnt be in before the temp tag expired, he promised to cover any ticket. I trusted him. When the title came in, he drove to the auction house and sent the title Priorty Mail. All the time he kept me in the loop. The car flew through inspection. The brake test was perfect. When we hit a paperwork snag in the final stages of getting new title and registration in Delaware, he dropped everything and faxed the documents we needed while we were at the DMV. Even stayed on the line while we verified they had received it. Now thats service! Needless to say, Franklinville Auto Sales is my go to dealer. Ive referred everyone I know that is looking for a car to go there. Roger is the antithesis of the stereotype of a used car salesman. If I ever need another car, Ill just tell him what Im looking for and wait for him to find it.

Between me and several family members through the years we have purchased 9 vehicles from roger they have all been fantastic the hunt for used vehicles is a very undesirable activity considering most of the other dealerships in the area have vehicles that are barely running, overpriced, and just all around rough and they love to give you the reasoning "they are used cars" Ive learned theres a big difference between used cars and abused cars and roger will be the first to tell you if any of his vehicles have issues and anything he fixed on them which is amazing considering most of the other lots told me they got the car in that condition I can truly say roger did his best at being honest with me and selling my family and I vehicles that he had done necessary repairs to and were trustworthy and reliable for lower than a lot of the other things out there my mom actually recommended him to me and I told her but craigslist has great deals and then when I actually started looking at vehicles on craigslist I realized that often people become very good at hiding issues so of course I ended up at rogers where I found my jeep which was one of the cheapest ones I found in the best condition and roger gave me a list of repairs he had done to it and shes been amazing for the past year and I just purchased an rv from roger and I get many compliments on it, so if your looking for a good vehicle at a good price that hasnt been through the ringer I definitely recommend giving this place a look first theres a good amount of variety, a lot of stuff you wouldnt expect at a used car lot with such low prices

I had the displeasure of trying to find a good used car under $4000 dollars, I know sounds cheap, but I wanted to simply own something without the big cost of not only a car payment but the added expense of having a big insurance payment on top of it... Wow.... So disappointing all the dirty and banged up cars there is out there for about 4 grand, rips burns in the seats, rust, flat tires and many cars look like they have been in a war or flood zone. Finally after finding this place, we bought a very clean Nissan Altima for just under 4000. Its been a month now, just passed inspection, and we couldnt be happier, I dont think we could have made batter purchase anywhere. The couple at Franklinville auto was very nice, even pointed out not just the good but the bad, lets face it 4000 dollar cars are not new, but they can be found clean with just minor irritations. So for us, this was the best bang for the buck for sure.

THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE About a year ago I had the great displeasure of buying a used car from this establishment. Admittedly, I was eager to buy a car because my daily driver recently broke down for good. When I test drove the vehicle everything seemed okay so I bought it the next day. After two days of owning the car I discovered that the rear main seal was bad and needed to be replaced. This is not a cheap fix. My mechanic then informed me that the bottom of the car had so much rust it had to be involved in a flood. The owner of this establishment never mentioned any such problem. Within a year I had to fix the rear main seal, multiple sensors and electrical components including wires, battery, alternator. And on top of this the ABS system is seriously malfunctioning. I am warning everyone that this place is shady and you should by no means purchase a vehicle from here.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I first called Roger at Franklinville Auto about an ad on craigslist for a 98 yellow VW Beetle. The ad stated "good condition and drives amazing... GUARANTEED INSPECTION" When I called him he restated the same information. So the next day my husband and I took off work and drove a hour to see the car. When we arrived we found the car with the hood up and him making excuses about this "sensor that doesnt do anything" was making the check engine light come on. (Which he did NOT mention on the phone the day before) We had already arranged to have the car looked at by a local mechanic and Roger was very hesitant about letting us take it off the lot but did comply. DISASTER AVOIDED... On just a brief inspection the mechanic found multiple leaks and other repairs needed that totaled over $2000. Needless to say we returned the car and will never be back.

Should have called the police! While looking at first car and trying to get the windows to work the lemon starts falling apart. Buttons popping off in our hands when trying to use one touch up. Ask to see second car that needed to be jumped and open the sunroof that proceeds to break as soon as it opens. Try to test the windows in second car and the lever starts falling off the door. Owner proceeds to smack my 21 year olds hand and claim WE broke both cars......Quickly realized what a scam artist this guy was. We should have called the police and pressed charges for assault. Stay far away from here.
