I recently purchased a Lincoln MKZ from Murphy Ford. As a bit of a primer, I can be a critical person when it comes to purchasing goods. While I certainly dont try to act obnoxiously, I can internally find fault with even very good service. Ive had some terrible experiences with car dealerships in the past. In my experiences, Ive felt like I needed to take a shower after walking out of about 95% of the car dealerships Ive ever been to. The excessive amount of gamesmanship and sleazy sales tactics from many of the car dealerships has left me very jaded about purchasing a car. I have to say, when I stumbled across Murphy Ford, I found everyone at Murphy Ford to be fantastic. Particularly when it comes to purchasing a car, I tend to be extremely deliberate. The sales person that was working with me, Sean Caris, was overwhelmingly patient as I mulled over a number of options for many hours. He didnt give me any of the "hard sale" malarkey that I fully expected to receive, and was perfectly content with me test-driving a number of vehicles multiple times. He was extremely knowledgeable about a whole host of questions that I had and was able to instantly identify even the most minor of nuances between a number of vehicles. Everyone else at the dealership (both Dan Murphys, John Abruzzi, the sales and finance manager, and Randy Filippone, the general sales manager), were absolutely first class in every respect. I cannot lavish enough praises on the entire sales team. Once I decided on a car, which I was very pleased with, I was out of the dealership in what seemed like the blink of an eye. I financed part of the purchase, and John was able to promptly and efficiently contact a huge number of lenders, and I was blown away with the APR that he was able to deliver to me. Keith Mills, another sales and finance manager, was able to walk me through the different warranties and service options in a very skilled manner, and I was astonished at how reasonable the different plans were. The Murphys have a gigantic fleet of cars, ranging from the most high-end vehicles you could imagine to more economical models. The used car inventory is extensive and there are a lot of great deals to be had. Ive been back twice to service the vehicle, and both times the experience could not have run smoother. Additionally, the younger Dan Murphy informed me about a "Tires for Life" program that Murphy Ford offers. My understanding of the program is that if all recommended factory scheduled maintenance has been performed by Murphy Ford and properly documented in the maintenance booklet from the time of purchase until the time when new tires are needed, those new replacement tires are free. Hard to beat that kind of program! Needless to say, the entire Murphy Ford was such a breath of fresh air from so many other dealerships that I had dealt with. I highly, highly recommend these fine folks.

A very unique experience at what is supposed to be a reputable dealership. I found a 2015 F-150 advertised for $34,995. No pictures were published, however, it had under 3,500 miles on it. I made the trek over from NJ at 7 oclock on a Monday night. Met Fernando, my salesman, a very well spoken gentleman. After greetings, Fernando asked me to have a seat, as he would pull the truck around front. After several minutes, Fernando returns and asks me to step outside to look at the truck. This truck, which according to Carfax was about 3 months old, was absolutely disgustingly dirty. Fernando walked me around to the back of the truck and showed me damage to the bumper, which apparently had backed into a dumpster and needed repair. I quickly pointed out that there was also body damage. Fernando explained that if we could work a deal out this evening, that the damage would be repaired in the AM and the truck would be Ford Certified. I questioned how a truck could be certified, as it was damaged in an accident. He had some answer that honestly didnt make sense and probably wasnt even legal. Dealerships have the advantage of knowing everything that happens to our cars, through the likes of Carfax, however, this dealership isnt going to report this damage? So, I figured Id consider the truck if the price was right, took it for a test drive and really liked the vehicle. We went in and did the normal number crunching. Eventually I spoke with a manager, who was also very cordial. The long and the short of it is, they wouldnt budge off the $35,000 price. I took my phone out and showed them the same exact truck in Northern New Jersey, which had about 10,000 more miles. The truck was listed for $29,995. I told them, this truck which is damaged is worth less than the truck with 10,000 more miles, not the other way around. The manager pulled out his paperwork and explained what the truck was worth through NADA and that once they damage was fixed it was going to go on the lot for $38,000. I said its on the internet for $34,995 now and your going to raise it when the damage is fixed? He explained that they just put it on the internet to draw people in. So, I wasted 3 hours of my life, to be drawn into a scam? Ive always been a big fan of Ford trucks and I still am. This, however, was one of the most dishonest purchase experiences I have ever come across. Buyer beware, theyll sell to you how they are the only Motor Trend Certified Ford dealer in the Delaware Valley. One would think Motor Trend has higher standards than this, apparently not, AGAIN....BUYER BEWARE!!

Excellent!! I have to say dealing with Murphy Ford was such a pleasant experience. Beth was our salesperson and she was amazing. The night we went looking we were not even sure exactly what we wanted, by the time we left, we knew! Unfortunately they did not have the exact make and model that we were looking for, so we did go elsewhere to look around and compare prices. I have to honestly say no other dealer even came close. Beth called me every day, even if she didnt find it, just to let us know that she was still looking. It was her great personality and consistent effort to help us that lead us back to Murphy. A week later we had exactly what we were looking for. The day it came in, Beth was not able to be there, so we had John who stepped right up to go over everything the car had to offer and explained it to us perfectly. That made a huge impression on us considering we werent even his costumers and he took his time with us, then even took time to talk football with my 11 year old, who thinks he is the coolest man ever!! I would also like to say a huge thank you to Frankie who helped us with all the financing, he was amazing, even know I would call about questions I had, he never seemed upset always willing to take time out to talk with me. I would recommend Murphy Ford to everyone I know, because they really do care about their customers and they are not just about making the sale. I have already gotten 2 phone calls from Beth just checking in to say Hello and seeing how we are enjoying our new car, Now that is what you call Good customer service. Thank you Mr. Murphy for running such a great establishment.
