The german butcher is a local landmark for residents in the area. The food here is always delicious where it may be cold-cuts, steaks, poultry, potato salad, or even bread, the food is always great and never seems to dissatisfy. The is service is great, they operate by a take a number service and the workers are always pleasant. Also if you get hungry they serve meals at the other end of the butcher like delicious cheese steaks, burgers, pulled pork, pork roll egg and cheese, and other various meal items that range throughout the day. If your in the area sometime, I highly recommend the German Butcher. P.S - dont let the large crowds fool you if its busy, the service goes by quickly

Have shopped there for 15 years. You are known to have a very large selection of German cold cuts and specialties preferred by old customers. The last two times we bought our favorite sausages we noticed a difference in flavor, more an absence of flavor. Perhaps some newer customers dont like the original spices that are used in the art of German sausage making. Or those spices have become too costly. It will keep us from buying Wieners, Frankfurters, Jagdwurst and Liverwurst. The smoked flavor is also missing. My friends now shop in Union County. The difference is remarkable. What we still like is your homemade Salami. It is still excellent. Will things change? G. T.

My favorite place for lunch ever. If I could pick one place to eat lunch in the entire country this would be the place (and Ive lived all over the country). Excellent. Try them out, you wont be disappointed. When I was expecting my last child Id nearly cry (ok, maybe once I really did cry) when my husband would surprise me with a sandwich from the German Butcher :-) This place is what food cravings are made of!! Highly recommend

Large selection of meats and butchery but staff and made to order food is lacking completely. The staff isnt helpful unless youre a regular and the made to order food is really just not good. The only reason this place is so popular is because theres no other competition in the area. Go if you have too get some specialty meat, but dont stay too long.

Buying meat for the grill? Skip the supermarket chains, this is the finest butcher around. The staff will suggest cuts you will enjoy and that will delight your guests. They will offer you a dry rub and grilling tips. The deli section is superb!

Wonderful. Kelly is the best. She checked for me to see if the eggplant bread was ready because I came in early in the morning and the eggplant bread was just coming out of the oven. She wrapped it nice for me. Thanks Kelly.
