I went to Kam Man food store to buy food yesterday. Having chosen my favorite food, I took the food to check out. The cashier scanned all the food that I bought, I gave her my Kam Mam store card that could save 5% when checked out. She took over my card with the keys and scanned over, and just let the card on the counter, I attempted to pick the card with the keys up; suddenly, she deliberately flung my card with keys to another side of counter about 16 inch far away. When I saw what she did, I wanted to talk to her why flung my card far away again, but I stopped talking to her. I felt mad at what she did in front of me, she actually humiliated me in the store. That is not her first time to fling my card with keys, I checked out with her many times and she always flung my card about 20 times(2yrs) , however, I didn’t complaint to the store manager, she thought that I am a pushover women; but this time I couldn’t bear it and found the store manager to tell him what happened when I checked out with this lady cashier. As long as I Know, the cashier is a despicable, nasty, appalling in the store. Nobody would like to make a fried with her. I am a valuable customer who spent a lot of money to the store, that means the store’s income. However, I was humiliated by the cashier again and again. The next day morning, I decided to call the manager who is in charge of the store about why she humiliated me yesterday. He apologized to me and promise me it won’t be happen again. The store should give the cashier the ax and retribution. Anyway, very hardly have I seen such a hostile and despicable cashier in my life.

Kam Man Foods East Hanover: BUYER BEWARE. Shop at your own risk and peril! This facility is filthy. If you want insect parts in your prepared food go and and order from them. If you dont want to order the prepared foods then be advised to check the expiration date on any of the canned foods. I understand that last year the BOARD OF HEALTH closed them down for several weeks because many of their items on the shelves were past their expiration dates. Management put the sign in the window that they were "closed for renovations" it didnt appear they made any renovations. All you could see through the windows were many empty shelves.

Prices are a bit high compared to Chinatown in Manhattan or Brooklyn, but This is the closest Chinese supermarket around me. They have a cool lunch area where you can get 3 selections over rice for a really reasonable price. They also have roast duck, pork, duck wings, etc! I recently found they stock frozen banana leaves for my Kalua Pork recipe. They have the usual meat, fresh fish, vegetable and fruit sections. The fresh fish, they will kill it and gut it there for you.

Would love if they had an interpreter somewhere in the building. I will not let the language barrier deter me from coming here, ever! The Pho from Saigon Express has changed, the noodles are a bit more tougher / dense than before, however the broth is still what makes us come back for more. The cafeteria style food is also delish, real Chinese is served here, not the picture food you see in those delivery restaurants.

This is an Asian supermarket in East Hanover in the same strip mall as Home Depot. It has almost all the Asian grocery items you can hope to find around here, plus fruits and vegetables and meat. It also has a food court and bakery. Only problem I have with them is they sometimes close before their posted hours. Try to get there more than 30 minutes before closing so that you can get in.

Great Chinese grocery store that also carries some other ethnic foods from Asia and Southeast Asia. In the store is also a bakery, a prepared food area, and a Vietnamese restaurant that serves Pho and other local dishes. Good produce and meat/fish section.

Been getting the noodle soup from Miss Saigon counter for a couple years -- very consistent -- very good. Very please with selection and quality of grocery -- good fish counter -- larger cuts, whole fish. Checkout people are just fine.

The skinny guy in bakery/bubble tea session is rude to customers. I have seen it a few times. Buy cakes at your own risk; they will not exchange for spoiled ones. Fish are generally fresh. This place is spacious and is convenient.

Great source for *authentic* Asian foods in NJ. Anyone who complains about the service has never been to a Chinese market before. Amazing greens, fruits and vegetables. Prices on many items are unbeatable.

People at the check out are very very very rude. Nobody speaks English, nobody you can ask. I would stay away unless you are Chinese. Ive never seen such rude group of people in my entire life....

If you looking for oriental products and love to try new food - this is a great store. The only thing that is upsetting - their merchandise is all over the place - no system to the madness!

Abundant variety of Asian foods, fresh fish and produce along with a bakery/takeout restaurant make this one of our go-to locations for when we want ingredients for homemade Asian meals.

Good selection of asian groceries. Produce section is excellent and has variety unseen in standard grocers. The prepared food counter always leaves something to be desired.

My favorite Asian grocery store in New Jersey. Relatively clean and good selection of items. Definitely better than the Kam man in Edison.

A hidden gem. Great Asian market and its BIG! Produce is often better and less expensive than I find at my local ShopRite. A must go.

This is my go-to Asian grocery store. One star taken off because they did not have Thai basil the last time I was there.

The food does taste good but with that said... I saw one of the cooks standing around digging deep in his nose. Eww!
