Nice enough looking store, but meat manager poses as the meat GESTAPO! I got 2 packs of chopped beef on sale, and tossed in 1 more b/c it ws the last pk and sale was over and it was closing. Nobody was looking for that chopped beef! Probably got tossed. At $2.99 a lb, I planned on ringing separately. He came to ck out and embarrassed me telling me im not allowed to buy it. Was really nasty too! Judgie POS! I got the feeling he lived for moments like that. Really bad feeling about him and store because of that. Plus, store hasnt been updated in years. Checkered floors, really ugly for nice areas and stores. Spend some money on the store! So many FoodTowns have closed down, well worth the efforts.

Management Staff is not very friendly, nor out to help. Customer is never right. Jack..the owner nice guy, Adam great. Anthony...nasty, never smiles, and hates to be bother. He is diffently OCD, follows you around and straightens meat, bread, etc.out as soon as you take something. Wierd! Deli, and butchers are nice. Check Expiration dates. Find expired dates all the time. They have sale items, that they raise the prices then deduct the new "sale" price. Toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Drop brand products a lot. Advantage...convenient location for Caldwell.

Great local supermarket, the deli food and sandwiches are huge and awesome, and their fresh bread is always good. They dont have all the varieties as a larger store would have, but they have pretty much everything covered, though at a slightly higher price for many products then ShopRite, down the road. Overall, very convenient and well stocked local supermarket, no complaints.

Wish I could give zero stars. This place sells expired meat and mislabels that packages with incorrect expiration dates. When you complain they dismiss it as a human error. They are a danger to the public and have no concern for the health and safety of people. Please post on here if you have experienced the same and want to be heard.

As stated by one of the previous reviewers, I wish I could give zero star. According to the manager there, you cant make their membership card, hence cannot get any discounts, unless your permanent address is with the Caldwell town. Then what about all the college students there who are mostly not from the area?

Always enjoy shopping here. Have done so for almost 40 years. Everyone is so friendly and helpful...and love the oldies music. Nice to hear folks singing or whistling happily.

Staff very friendly. good selection of food, but if you want if want to look for organic food, the selection is very limited
