This Dumont location is poorly run and the improvements to it would be easy to make. The hand-held self-check out wands are not maintained, constantly uncharged and/or malfunctioning. The digital produce scales rarely work. The deli order kiosk is frequently out of order. The deli items are mis-labelled EVERY TIME I go. Think youre buying a chicken salad sandwich? Nope, its really tuna salad labelled wrong! Think youre buying Broccoli Crunch salad? Nope, its the veggie salad, food allergies be damned! I found s&s lunch kits expired for TWO WEEKS even after it was called to the attention of customer service TWICE. Its clearly poorly managed. I wish I didnt live so close to the place. Its the worst!

I love Stop & Shop in Dumont it is very clean supermarket everybody is friendly and nice and I have no complaints about this store at all.. and I dont want to forget about the pharmacy Reggie is a great pharmacist and also friendly hell make sure you have the right prescription and he always has a smile on his face...

Fresh fruits, vegetables. I especially like their bread department. Bagels, artisan bread of all varieties thats rarely found in modest priced supermarket.
