I just went in after receiving an email about a line of planner materials that is trending in store and online. After-no exaggeration-15 minutes wandering the store (I asked a cashier if someone was on the floor to help me find these items, and she confirmed:) because there were no sales people on the floor to help me find the line I was looking for, I finally happened upon a worker. She was sweet, and explained if I call back on Friday, they *might* have had a chance to put the Thursday shipment on the floor I to their new floor display... I asked, well where are the current items you have? She shook her head no... So I get an email specifically about these items, and theyve been pulled from the floor the week theyre "trending"? I was beyond thrilled when I found out a Michaels was coming to Clark Commons. Ive been nothing but disappointed every single time Ive gone into this location. This scam theyre pulling- trying to get customers into the store with advertisements, not having the item, so maybe the customers will buy anything so not to waste the trip? Im over it, and over this location. There has been plenty of time since the store opening a year ago to iron these wrinkles out- this is poor management.

They have like 1/2 of what you are looking for every time go to Michaels...But first order what you think you will really need from Amazon. Plus I find that things that used to be a dollar are 20$ in this store. So only go here if you really, really cant wait for shipping. Their ribbon is nice and ok for its price. I remember when that used to be a dollar now its two. But ok I guess inflation. I mean I like this store but it doesnt compare to other craft stores like Joe-Anne but I dont think they have those around here. Hobby lobby used to be good but I recently went there and was disappointed. For sewing and jewelry making this store is not very good, but if you are making something for your kids school out of construction paper and glitter pens then this is the place for you. Felt, pom-poms, popsicle sticks that kind of thing glue scrap books. Not me I like to twist wires together. They never have what I am looking for and never have a large enough selection of swarski cristal.

Just went into the store for the first time on Sunday March 20th, at 2PM. The manager Tavan/Shavan was completely disrespectful and demeaning. and racist. She talked to my husband who is white, with "Sir, hello how are you, thank you... etc." When she saw me, no hello or greetings, and she started talking to me rudely and asking me to push my thing forward, then continued to smack my items down and treat me with utter disrespect. When I blatantly pointed her change in attitude.. she shrugged and said she didnt think I spoke English. I can tell you I am lit... and she should be fired. Then the next person on line was white, and she went back to finding her manners. Funny that she is black, and has green eyes and yet she sees someone with tan skin and treats them with less respect... she should not work in customer service and certainly Michaels should speak to her, if not fire her.

I absolutely love the product and items in this store but I dont know if it is just me, but I can never find an employee to help me on the sales floor. Sometimes I am in a hurry to get home after a long days work and I just want to run in to purchase an item and get out the door, but it is so hard to do so when I cant find the merchandise I am searching for. Love this store, but definitely not a place for me to shop when I am in a rush and need help at the same time

Gosh this place is a heaven for the Artists and DIYers. I usually go there for the classes it offers and for all the supplies needed for the class, & sometimes I find the prices a tad bit higher but I think its worth. You can find a wide range of art n craft stuff with super high quality. Staff is good too.

Waited about 45 mins asked for help 3 times and was finally told that all the Holiday Help was let go so there is only 4 people in the entire store... then when checking out waited another 30 mins 5 registers 2 people on the register only....

Absolutely love the selection of crafts to do all throughout the seasons and holidays. The isles are self explanatory and the employees are very helpful and informative. If youre one to craft or create this is the place for you.
