I have no complaints against the store. The staff is very helpful, store is clean and well organized. I absolutely love this store, and hate writing negative review but the experience was bad I just couldnt resist writing. The rating and review is for the free cupcake decorating class. This week I attended the class decorating cupcakes with flowers, it was the worst class I have ever been to. The instructor was not aware of what to teach. Being a beginner I was expecting some good information about filling the icing bag, different kind of tips and how to use them and making patterns using the tips that were mentioned in the supply list. Instead of focusing on teaching techniques it seemed liked she was busy learning piping herself. She insisted on using stiff piping even after I told her it was too thick to handle, being a new bee I just Followed her instruction and kept going after about 45 minutes my fingers and arm literally started hurting, most of the time she was busy talking to another lady attending the class, least bothered whether we needed any help. When an hour was left she told us we could leave if wanted to, out of frustration I immediately left the class. All in all she wasnt qualified for the job at all. It was a total waste of time. I do not recommend anyone to attend this class, specially if the instructor is not available and some substitute is doing the job. Make sure you check with the store before showing up.

My wife and I are the DYI types. We did all of our wedding decorations ourselves. We needed certain items for our centerpieces, which it seemed only Michaels carried. This store was out of stock. We spoke to the manager, who gave us a raincheck and promised to call as soon as they came in. This was 22 months ago. They never called. Prices constantly ring up HIGHER than the listed price and most of my re-occurring item purchases are always OUT OF STOCK! NEVER do they have the items I NEED in-stock. Im tired of hearing, "We only get what corporate sends us. We cant order more than they determine we need." Total BS! This is why people are doing more shopping ONLINE!

Do not have framing done here. This is something you sometimes need expert advice on, and you get none here. To make matters worse, it was done incorrectly, and obviously so, which I did not notice until I got home because it was wrapped. I had to bring a very large piece back to the store to have it corrected and to make another trip to pick up. Even with their "SALE", work is no bargain here...A.C. Moore is less expensive and you get solid advice.

They are rude... Do not follow their own store policy .... Ive been a loyal customer for 17 years never had a problem returning anything and all the sudden they cant!!! Claim that its their policy and when I showed them their policy on paper they deny that its for their store.... Will never shop here again!! And Ive spend thousands of dollars here

This is among the best arts and crafts store. This location has a lot of childrens activities on Saturday mornings for $2/kid especially during Halloween. The lady that runs the class at this location is very good.

Very bad customer service...specially a lady name Michael or Rachel,, cuse I ask her for help and she was very inrespecfull to me.. I was aloyal customer since 8 Years ago..very poor customer service..

Usually large lines and clearance section is messy. Pretty good customer service and availability of products. Make sure to sign up for the card to get coupons.

Not much of a selection for what I wanted but a nice store. Crowded though between the boxes for stocking, people and carts it was hard to maneuver.
