Paramitos used to have good customer service, but after Mr. Paramito passed away, the store has taken a turn for the worse under his sons direction. My husband bought my engagement ring from the late Mr. Paramito, and we were very happy with the ring and his level of customer service. My mother-in-law had been a loyal customer for many years, and it was obvious that my husband would purchase my ring there. Sadly, Mr. Paramito Sr. had an untimely death, and when we returned to purchase the matching wedding band, his son had taken over the business. The high levels of customer service that his father upheld were completely undermined by his son. Still, we decided to buy the wedding band because it was crafted to exactly match my engagement ring. The son promised to call me on Friday when I was told the ring would be ready to pick up after being sized. Not only did I have to track him down because he did not call when he said, but the ring was not ready. He then promised to call the next day because my ring would be ready then. Again, he did not follow through on his word, and again, the ring was not ready. This was particularly disappointing because I was leaving for my honeymoon on Monday, and I would have to leave without my wedding band. He made another promise to call as soon as I returned, and he even offered to drive the ring to me as an apology. That would have been nice, but again, he proved his promises and words empty and did not call upon my return, even after I had expressed how upset I was that he had failed to follow through twice before. As it turns out, one of the prongs had broken off of my engagement ring during the honeymoon, so when I went to pick up the wedding band, I took in my engagement ring to be repaired. Upon examining the ring, he asked, "Where did you get this ring?" My mother-in-law and I exchanged incredulous glances. After two months of dealing with him and two weeks of close contact, he was unaware where we got the ring? He was unaware the reason we returned for the wedding band was because it matched the engagement ring that his own father made? It was truly unbelievable. Instead of standing behind his merchandise and his fathers good name, he insisted I banged my hand and insisted on charging for the repair. I have no experience of banging my hand, and I told him that much. This is particularly cogent because he said the amount of damage incurred required a fair amount of force. Surely, I would remember such an incident. This, however, is inconsequential. Regardless of blame, I felt belittled as a customer, which seems to be in direct contradiction to the old adage: "The customer is always right." Because of repeated poor treatment, I made the decision to take my ring and my business elsewhere. For good. I recommend you save yourself the time, headache, and trouble and do the same.

I recently got married and purchased my wifes engagement ring and wedding band here. The wedding band needed to be sized and my wife and I were told it would be ready by the end of the week and they would call when it was in. Friday arrives and no call. We called in the afternoon and they said it would be ready on Saturday and, again, they would call when it was in. Saturday afternoon arrives. No call. We call and they say that the person they sent it out to is running late and it wont be ready until Monday. Only problem is that we were leaving for our honeymoon on Monday! So my wife didnt have her wedding band on our honeymoon because Paramito Jewelers sends out basic tasks like sizing rings to third-parties because they dont have an in-house jeweler! On our honeymoon, my wife notices that one of the prongs on her engagement ring broke off. We return from our honeymoon to get the engagement ring fixed and to finally pick up the wedding band. Mr. Paramito insists that my wife must have knocked into something which caused the damage. He refused to stand by his product, offering instead to fix the engagement ring for a fee! We took the ring to another jeweler for a second opinion. It turns out both rings have problems. The engagement ring had a princess cut diamond placed in a round brilliant setting, which caused undue stress on the prongs. The wedding band had a crack in it and loose diamonds! Mr. Paramito offered to fix the engagement ring prongs at his cost and the wedding band for free but, at this point, we dont trust him. And neither should you! Dont make the same mistake we did! Buy your jewelery somewhere else!

I was cleaning out my jewelry boxes and found a popped strand of high quality pearls. No one else would even broach the idea of re-stringing but the lovely owner quickly came to the rescue. The cost was minimal compared to buying another set of the same quality. And she even appraised them for free. How can you NOT love that kind of service and attention in 2016! #WellDone #SmallBusinessMatters #CommunityPartners I

I was so happy to see a company with great customer service, attention to detail and jewelry that is out of this world. The time I was there they had an exotic car show, their clients brought in Ferraris, Lamborghinis and classic cars. I bought my girlfriend a pair of diamond stud earrings and was very happy. Great job!
