I used Mr. Alan for my wedding bouquet and other wedding accessories thank god not for my center pieces, I had three different meetings so we could ensure I got exactly what I was asking for. First meeting I was told wed be able to get peonies, second I was told probably not, theyre out of season. So we made a back up plan. I wanted white garden rose (they kinda look like peonies) and hydrangeas. Third meeting we went over everything and it sounded like everything was under control. Well my wedding day arrives, a day I shouldnt have to deal with rude unapologetic people. My bouquet is nothing that we had discussed!! And the boutonnière are completely the opposite of what I had order. First off they forgot to put hydrangeas in my bouquet and of course they used regular white roses which I hate!! I had to have someone else call the store for me as I was getting ready and they were on speaker, I could hear every single bit of attitude, so I sent my bouquet back and it came back wrong again, so now on my wedding day I had to call them myself. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who was rude and sounded fed up with having to here about this, she put me on hold and I had to hung up and go get married, there was nothing that could be done at that point. $200 bouquet that was originally peanoies that turned into a $200 dollar bouquet with wilted ugly brown spotted regular roses. Im so disappointed, I wouldnt allow my photographer to take pictures of my bouquet. Thanks Mr. Alans florist for making me cry on my wedding day and adding so much more stress than needed to be. I will never use them again. They are awful!

DISSATISFIED, bad customer service! My husband is in the Army and I am staying with family while he is away at training. Our anniversary was on a Sunday and I received a floral arrangement from Mr Allen from my husband. They flowers were not attractive in the least, they looked like they came from a grocery store. After finding out how much my husband paid for them I brought them back to Mr Allen’s because I did not think the arrangement was nice enough for the price. They would not give me my money back but offered to make a new arrangement and have it delivered to me on Monday (the following day). I agreed but at 5 pm on Monday when no flowers had arrived I called the shop. They told me the flowers had not arrived at their shop and I would get my arrangement on Tuesday. That is not acceptable to not call a customer to let them know their delivery is delayed and I told the women I spoke to I was upset no one had called me to tell me this. She said I could speak to the manager the following day to get a refund. I called on Tuesday, the manager was still not there but I was able to get a refund. The only positive that came from this situation is that my husband and I got the money back from the flowers. I spoke to Mr. Allen himself to tell him how disappointed I was and he offered no apology and was not very pleasant. I have never used this florist in the past, and I would never recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! HORRIBLE FLORIST!!!!!!!!!!!! I ORDERED A BOUQET ON VALENTINES DAY 02/14/13 AT 9AM. I CALLED THE SHOP AT 3:30PM TO CHECK ON THE STATUS OF THE DELIVERY AND THE WOMAN SAYS OH CAN YOU CALL BACK IN A HALF HOUR? I SAID NO ID RATHER HOLD AND WHEN SHE CAME BACK SHE SAYS ALL ONLINE ORDERS WERE CANCELLED AS OF YESTERDAY. NO WHERE ON THE WEBSITE DOES IT SAY THEY ARE NOT ACCEPTING ON LINE ORDERS AND NOW IM EXTREMELY UPSET BECAUSE I WAS ALLOWED TO PUT THE ORDER IN WITH MY CARD (ALTHOUGH THE MONEY HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN OUT YET) WHICH SHOUDLNT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED IF ONLINE ORDERING WAS NOT BEING PROCESSED TO BEGIN WITH. HERE I AM THINKING ALL DAY OH I CANT WAIT FOR MY MOM TO SEE THE FLOWERS WHEN I COULDVE WENT AYWHERE ELSE TO ORDER A DIFFERENT ONE INSTEAD. THE WOMAN SOUNDED LIKE SHE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT MY SITUATION AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST FLORIST IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THESE CLOWNS OF A BUSINESS. THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD WITH ANY BUSINESS. AFTER READING ALL THE OTHER HORRIBLE REVIEWS AND STORIES OF OTHER PEOPLE JUST AS FRUSTRATED AS ME IM WONDERING WHY THIS BUSINESS IS STILL RUNNING. CHECK THE REVIEWS OF THE FLORIST BEFORE YOU ORDER IT WILL SAVE YOU ALL THE FRUSTRATION WEVE ALL UNFORTUNETLY EXPERIENCED.

The people who run this flower shop are snakes and ripoffs. They try and get over on everyone they possibly can. They treat their employees like complete garbage and lie, cheat and steal hours and pay from them. Its not the employees fault, its the owners. When youre getting your paycheck ripped off how you can be happy to go to work? When you have to pay out of pocket to do your job how can you expect anything that comes out of this shop to be any good? When the owner doesnt pay the wholesaler and says he has a "scheme" to get out of paying it and the wholesaler stops delivering flowers to your shop - whats the employee supposed to do? Again, dont get mad at the employees of this shop they do the best they can with what theyre given. Its the owners that illegally run the business, rip off employees, wholesalers and customers but try and make them selves out to be on the "up and up". Even though the business is registered under one name, the person it is registered under has nothing to do with it. The guy who runs the place, and his wife are straight up crooks. This is only 1/3rd of the story mind you. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FLOWER SHOP - you have been warned.

SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!! My husband ordered a gorgeous arrangement of flowers for me on Valentines Day through 1-800-flowers who used Mr. Allens florist as their local vendor. The flowers that were delivered were NOT EVEN CLOSE to the $80 arrangement that my husband ordered! Not only were the flowers wrong, they were on the verge of dying! They were all different odd lengths just thrown together and the colors didnt even match! I actually tried to re-arrange and cut some of the flowers to make it look nicer which didnt work! I felt SO bad for my husband who was devastated. When we called Mr. Allen to complain we were HUNG UP ON...TWICE! This was our first Valentines Day as husband and wife and it really sucked that they ripped us off and ruined our special day! Luckily we were refunded by 1800flowers and given a $40 credit...needless to say we will not be using our credit at Mr. Allens Florist! Total SCAM artists!!!!

My husbands grandmother ordered us a bouquet of flowers for the birth of our baby. The flowers arrived at our home in total disarray. The water from the flowers was all spilled into the plastic packaging surrounding the vase. Half of the flowers looked dead. The arrangement was a total mess. We sent a picture to his grandmother and it turned out that the arrangement sent was not what she ordered. They agreed to send a new arrangement matching her order at no charge. The flowers arrived two days later in even worse condition than the originals. Not only that, it STILL WAS NOT what she ordered. Then the delivery person had the nerve to demand that we give her back the vase from the first arrangement. This place is an absolute joke and should not be in business. I would highly recommend that anyone considering using this florist take their business elsewhere.
