I try to be pretty cordial in all my dealings with any service industry, and as someone who works within a small business myself I try and give customer service every chance to make things right before I leave a negative review via social media. However at this point I feel Id be doing a disservice not to make people aware of my laughably bad experience at the hands of The Bloomery in Lincoln Park. 1. Flowers were scheduled to arrive for my mother on Mothers Day, May 8. They were simply never delivered and I received no word from anyone regarding any sort of delay or error. 2. I contacted them promptly on May 9 after hearing the flowers were never received. They replied a few minutes after the initial message: "Hi Jon, i will have somebody contact you once they look up the order. Thanks" 3. I messaged them four hours later after hearing nothing back and asked them to cancel the order. At this point they responded promptly, leaving me to wonder if they had forgotten about me after my initial message. The response said: "Hi Jon, we did see that it was our error with delivery and we are so sorry for the mistake. The money should be refunded to you by tomorrow. If you would still like an arrangement delivered, we would do so at no cost to you. Again, our apologies!" No worries, mistakes happen and they were making it right by me. I asked them to deliver the flowers on May 23 instead for a different occasion, they said they would and would refund me the money in total. They were very cordial and at this point I was satisfied. 4. Nearly two weeks later on Saturday, May 21, I noticed that I still had not received the refund that was supposed to have been "refunded to you by tomorrow", which should have been May 10. I messaged asking about the refund and was told it was put through on Wednesday, May 18. So I guess they forgot to put the refund through until a week and a half after I asked for it on May 9. 5. On May 23 (today), the flowers arrived at MY address, which is very clearly indicated on the receipt as the Billing Address. My mother didnt get flowers on Mothers Day, and now Ill have to drive them over myself for her anniversary. At this point Ill be stunned and amazed if I actually get my money back, but at least I can be assured that I can get these flowers to my mother since I am now effectively the delivery driver. Awful experience and I wouldnt recommend this shop to anybody.

What an awesome florist. The arrangement that was sent to a memorial this past Monday was even nicer than the online picture (that never happens!) and I heard a couple people at the event commenting about how beautiful it was. Also, I went in to the store today to check it out and bought a cool hanging teardrop terrarium (wish I could attach a picture), that was very reasonably priced, and when I got home to hang it up, the store owner, Sean snuck an extra plant into it. A very nice, extra plant. Talk about above and beyond. I will definitely be back and recommend this florist to all. The selection of everything, is very beautiful, with something for everyone. Contemporary, eclectic, quaint, you name it. Gorgeous orchids, my favorite. So glad its in my town.

Sean, of the Bloomery, created a gorgeous pink and white arrangement for my sisters birthday. His talent is superior and his personality is superior. My sister lives in Manhattan and she knows quality flower arrangements and she said her arrangement was "out of this world." She couldnt stop talking about her arranegment! Boonton keeps getting better. I found this place today and couldnt resist taking home some flowers to enjoy. The owners were so nice and packaged my purchase so pretty that I didnt want to open it. They also gave my daughter a rose in her favorite color!
