I ordered, parts for a recently purchased 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis. Had a real screwed purchase of steering gear box, steering hoses, alternator, battery, pitman arm. Alternator worked for about a half hour and brought it back to store forgetting receip. Jenni was totally patient and I even let an elderly gentleman who I noticed having trouble standing telling her to take care of him first before resolving my inop alternator issue ( I fell 30 feet and have had 2 hip screws and a total hip and socket replacement myself) Jenni is a Saint, I myself have a long history of customer service and an former military with air force which our motto was service before self.. I was totally honored when she thanked me for my patience. I was initially sold wrong alternator, wrong 2 sets of steering hoses, not her fault and was initially helped by a driver and me just purchasing a vehicle without knowing actual parts needed. How could I get mad!! Lol. Jenni is a true asset to your company and treated me the way I would treat myself and all customers!!

Apparently an old employee was giving things away to his friends and i went in a week after he was fired. I tried to return a set of brake pads and was accused of stealing them cause i didnt have the receipt. I was so insulted i asked to speak to a manager and his name was larry. I have never met a more incompetent person in my life. I guess anyone can be a manager at advance auto with a low IQ. He also yelled at me and assumed i was part of this ring with the old employee. I went home searched up and down found the receipt brought it back showed larry and asked for an apology and he said i dont deserve one and he doesnt care at all. I cant believe how low advance auto has became. I will forever go to autozone now.

I recently went in to have my battery checked on my 2014 cadillac xts ,I dealt with a young man named Justin ,I decided to change the battery ,Justin was very good, the battery change wasnt as simple as it is on most cars there was quite a bit of electronics attatched to the battery and it was placed in a spot that needed alot of effort removing it ,this guy was great and patient and most of all he treated my car with care he was very thorough he replaced everything exactly as it was from the factory ,a very polite employee made for a real good experience ,Thanks Justin

I went here for a battery in part because they install it free. Battery clamp was rusty but they managed to get a few turns on the nut. I asked him to use a lubricant, which he then did, but after I asked him to tighten again to get the oil in, he ignored me and broke it. I was offered to buy a replacement that was too long. Now, two weeks later, the car was dead! The terminal was loose! I should have gone to Shell on 72 who knows what theyre doing.

I went there for motorcycle battery for a Honda motorcycle . They could not find the model motorcycle in their program so did did not think they had a battery that would work. I walked over to the Shelf found a similar size battery and picked it up. Somebody had already stolen the nuts and bolts for it so they said they could not sell it to me. I convinced him to go on the back and look for another one they did find one.

Didnt have the oil filter I needed and said I needed to use a super expensive oil because all others could void the warranty when I have used Mobil at jiffy lube and it doesnt void the warranty When I said Ill just get the oil they wanted to charge me full retail because because they didnt have the filter So were going to charge me more for the oil because they didnt have the correct filter Never going back there again

The computer system is so bad it slows the employees down. Thow the person that helped me was great it took about 35 mins to find my cap,rotor,plugs and wires for my truck. I felt bad for him other employees just standing around and this poor man had a line of people and was stuck do to a old outdated program that really sucks could have found part numbers faster the old way with just a book

The young lady that helped me was very patient I was hot and tired and couldnt think straight I think anybody else would have walked away, she pulled some parts and I bought some and she had to restock some and I came back in and bought them anyway after I thought about it. She was just great

Staff is very nice, but as usual with advance autoparts , they arent very knowledgable about cars or the parts involved. It seems as though they NEVER have anything i need in stock and it all has to be ordered... they might as well be a local store that orders your parts online for you.
