I used to shop at the store in Londonderry, NH but will no longer step foot in the place, nor any other HOME DEPOT. If there were negative stars for HOME DEPOT, theyd get a -9. Bought a brand new Samsung washer from HOME DEPOT and was told, by the salesman, what a fantastic washer we were getting (even though there are recalls on numerous brands of the washer we bought- oops, forgot to tell us that?). Had it less than 7 days and wanted to return the piece of junk but the sales department wouldnt entertain the thought. Clothes were coming out of a full wash, DRY! We watched a couple of loads and the washer wasnt adding enough water and top clothes were not getting wet. Told this to sales manager and a sales person actually told us that if we were going to have the washer looked at DO NOT TELL THE TECH THERE ISNT ENOUGH WATER. I asked why and the sales guy said that if I tell Tech this, they wont even come out to my house. He told me to tell them its an agitation problem, so I did. The tech checked the machine and said the 3" of water is the actual amount the machine requires. He told me the problem is a "CONSUMERS EXPECTATION OF WHAT THE MACHINE SHOULD DO IS NOT BEING MET"...... Went back to store and was told that unless there was a mechanical problem, there was nothing that HOME DEPOT could do for me. Called Samsung and they told me it was a problem to be resolved between me and HOME DEPOT. When I went back to the store and told the sales folks I had wasted my $600 plus dollars (I bought extended warranty and upgraded hose lines- all STRONG recommendations of employee at store) I was corrected by the sales guy. He said I only spent $450 something for the machine. This totally was the last straw. Now, 2 months later, were are giving the piece of junk away and have gone to Barrons for a new, working machine and a guarantee that if not happy we have a return policy. I spend up to $2000.00 a year at HOME DEPOT- not anymore!! In fact, just built a new garage and had intended to supply all my fixtures, lights, hardware, insulation, etc. with HOME DEPOT products..... Ive told my story to 6 folks who were going to buy appliances at HOME DEPOT but have changed their minds. Good friend of mine is building a house in spring and was going to buy supplies at HOME DEPOT- not anymore! MORAL OF THE STORY- ONCE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR WITH A HOME DEPOT APPLIANCE- YOURE ON YOUR OWN!! You choose!!!!

1.0 star rating 6/13/2017 I finally decided to switch out my kitchen cabinets, counter, sink & faucet. The contractor does business with Home Depot and I appreciated all his efforts, but Home Depot should take some customer service lessons. First of all, they ordered the incorrect color for counter top from the business they sub-contract with, no apology was offered & after a significant delay because of this, nothing was done on their end to expedite my order. Second of all, when Im told that someone would return my call, not once, but twice and it doesnt happen, makes me wonder if they have any customer service skills at all. In the long run, guess it doesnt matter when they have your $$$. Ill never do business with them, but Im just a small fish in the sea & I know it wont make a difference, just makes me feel better saying it. Wish there were negative stars.

Literature did not say it has a spring inside. Also the unit I received had 2 separate locks instead of the one shown centered in photo. So photo was misleading. As soon as I released the 2 locks, it popped open.... greater distance open than I wanted it to remain. No flexibility to allow me to adjust it back to level I wanted open, either. But worst of all, I was not able to close it again, because force of the spring keeping it open was too powerful to overcome. Maybe this would work out for a younger, stronger person, but Im a Sr. Citizen so I had to return it.

Ordered a fridge over 2 wks ago. Delivery date was to be today between 10 - 2 . Shockingly they just called to cancell and want to reschedule for Monday. I now have to take time off from work at my expense . This is a major flaw when you by an appliance there - pay for it there and now have to rely on an outside sourse they use . Result speaks for itself - no fridge - lost wages - inconvience and frustration. Why did I buy there? Duh. Won t happen aga

Bought Whirpool washer in 2016, problems from the beginning, would not work at all. Did everything advised by repair service, still didnt work. After several different repair men and many months it was decided they would replace the unit. Without a washer for more than three months. The good news is that the manager of the Tilton, NH store was great once I was smart enough to complain to the proper person. The new washer works great.

Everyone was extremely helpful at a very difficult time. My husband just lost his battle with cancer and I cared for him at home until the end. Unfortunately the carpet in his room ended up getting a lot of bodily fluids in them and between all the medical expenses and being disabled I am on a very tight budget but the people at Home Depot were very helpful and was able to find something in my budget. Im forever grateful at the kindness.

Good place for hardware, good selection, prices are reasonable but not great. The staff is helpful, but there are never many checkout lanes open. Easy to get around in and they do have electric scooty-carts if you need them
