It was explained to the groomer that my geriatric Cocker Spaniel had severe knee issues and a few skin tumors and needed to be treated gently. My husband saw the groomer holding our muzzled dog up by the front legs while roughly brushing her: the dog kept buckling to the table because she could not support her weight. My husband demanded that the groomer free the dog from the painful clutch. The tumors had simply been shaved off and left to bleed. The dog was limping severely from the rough handling when she arrived home. I went back to speak with Tom the General Manager, and he left me standing for 15 minutes while he took photos of babies posing with the Easter Bunny, He then gave me 50 seconds of his time, and although he had no way of knowing what went on in the grooming room that day, he insisted he stood by "his" groomers. I would not bring a pet rat to this Petco.

I go to this petco for everything I need. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and know me as well as my pets (except the store manager, Tom, not the other manager also named Tom). I have bought a bearded dragon and two rats from this Petco and I have not had any trouble whatsoever. The people here are extremely knowledgeable and help me with whatever issues I have. I have read the disaster stories of the other two comments and I cannot believe that happened. I have been going to this petco for two years and I have not had a single problem. I hope that restores some faith in this petco because I have only had good experiences!

Just received a text from the former groomer we used. We has no personal ties to her- she stole phone numbers from the database to let us know where she is working now. Feeling a little violated that someone now has access to my personal phone number. Did she steal credit card info too? Im extremely concerned about whatelse may have been stolen... I would recommend going somewhere else because we sure will be doing so. This is so incredibly unprofessional and Im so annoyed... Thanks Kimberly for blowing up my phone.

We were horrified when our 1 year old puppy sustained 2 severe lacerations after being groomed at Petco. She had to wear an Elizabethan-style collar for a month and the veterinarian bills totaled $300. The store manager was "cold" at best, even after seeing first-hand the painful injury that his staff had done, and did not even offer to help offset the vet bills with a store credit. Very unprofessional -- We will never go back.

Was disappointed to find that they are no longer carrying the Cat food I bought every 3 weeks. I was willing to pay the price charged and usually spent 100 when I came in but the staff, although friendly didnt seem to know that the store no longer carried it. I came back 3 times before I gave up. Now buying on line and getting other products elsewhere.

LOVE This Petco been going here for years. Everyone Here Is So Nice and Friendly, they have New managers and new groomers. Morgan the grooming salon manager is great and always takes care of me, and their staff on the floor is amazing I highly recommend this Petco over N. Andover and Plaistow

Compared to the Petco in Manchester or Nashua this one is definitely lacking on its fish selection and knowledgeable staff but they do have a great selection of dog and cat products.

We come here for our fish supplies if the one closer to us is out of stock. Sometimes they are a little short staffed, but the personnel are both friendly and helpful.
