First Impressions are the Most Lasting I entered Nashua Paint and Wallpaper and stood in line behind one other customer at the cash register. After 10 minutes of not being acknowledged by anyone, I asked the customer in front of me if there was only one employee on that day. The one who was assisting another customer and failed to say, "Someone will be right with you." The customer said there were two employees and pointed to the man who had been standing at the entrance, for the past now 12 minutes, talking to some folks about his family owning the building, owning other specific buildings in a nearby city, how long they had owned all of the buildings, who some of the people were they had in common, about an acquaintance who was in jail for a significant amount of time, and about his (the employees) love of ski-doing, and about his children ski-doing, and then he pulled out his phone to show pictures of his children. After his self-promotion had finished he nonchalantly started to approach us. I asked him if he were an employee and he answered yes. I then said, "And you left us standing here all this time?" He said he was sorry with a smirk, and I then asked, "To talk about your family?" He then looked at me with the same smirk, but no words. I asked, "Really?!" At that point I left and I am going to inform the professional painter I hired to paint the entire interior of my house before marketing it, that his strong recommendation of Nashua Paint and Wallpaper for their knowledgeable and professional services was very incorrect and should be reconsidered. Maybe that egotistical young man is thinking too much about what the generations before him built in monetary value without considering the very important basics of quality and respectful service to a customer base that ensures the future of his children.

I am very angry!!I went into this store on Columbus day Oct 11th 5 weeks ago. TO look at and get a proposal for new cabinets. We gave Jerry our kitchen dimension. After 3 weeks I heard nothing and called I was told he was on vacation. He called me the following Monday OCT 25TH(2 weeks later) and left a message that he was busy he would get to my proposal that Wednesday. REALLY busy on vacation?? It is now Nov 8 not a word. I went to another place that same day in October within 1 week they contacted me with a proposal had it ready the next week. I have ordered the cabinets from them . BTW we are remodeling our entire house kitchen bath floors rugs paint. Nashua Wallpaper lost out big time

I had been going to Nashua Paint for years, however now a days, I find usually only one person working the paint counter and even on a Saturday morning! Expect long wait times. I would rather drive the extra miles to go to Belletetes on North Eastern Blvd in Nashua where I find I get excellent customer service...in the paint department especially. They also carry Benjamin Moore and California paints. Response: Thank you for your note. I will try you again. I posted this because this was not the first time I found one person working the paint counter when it was busy with people waiting. I am glad that you are addressing this

I have been going to Nashua Wallpaper and Paint for years. Despite these negative reviews, I have always received very good service and attention. They have always answered my questions, have been very helpful to both me and my husband. I admit they are busy with the contractors, but I am not intimidated, I wait my turn, ask my questions and I leave satisfied. Theyve been in the business for years, and they know what they are doing. I will continue going there when it is paint I need, or wallpaper.

Just discovered this hardware store and its a corker. Unlike the big box stores like HD and Lowes they actually have a great selection of hard-to-find hardware like stainless! In contrast to the one other review here, everyone was very helpful and nice. I miss my Greens Ace Hardware in Marblehead but now I have a place I can count on! 5 stars and free parking of their own around the corner! Try them if you need something unusual where the big box stores just cant cut it! Supports local business too!

Terrible service with rude, unprofessional employees who complain about how busy they are to compensate for poor customer service. I switched to Sherwin Williams years ago but I thought Id give this local establishment one more try...but it turned into the usual Nashua Wallpaper disaster. Wake up before the big guys put you out of business. Learn from the leaders, learn from Sherwin Williams.

Terrible customer service Terrible installation, the backsplash installed looks horrible, horizontal and vertical patterns, charged more than the competitors and looks like a newbie did the work. Left a mess, Horrible experience and very expensive Worst place Ive ever dealt with
