I am trying to turn a new leafe and go vegetarian for health reasons... not really for morale reasons (sorry) and whole foods seems like a good starting path. The Whole foods in Omaha is very impressive. The interior is so nice and smells very fresh. All the food I bought their is great and I highly recommend shopping here for anyone who is trying to do the same as me. Its also located in a VERY nice area. PS: The Idiot (BW Ridenour) who made the "poor to fair" review because they told him that he cant have a concealled and carried weapon on him while he is in the store is unbelievably ignorant. People like you are the reason America is becoming so inferior to other countries and it is absolutely dissapointing. Stop being so ignorant and take your head out of your NRA approved AZZ!!!! Im in the armed forces and I still see you as a repulsive idiot who has the narrow minded view comparable to the view of a Kentucky race hoarse. They are well within their right to tell you that you cant carry a weapon that is proven to be 95 percent of the time lethal to innocent victims and only 5 percent productive towards shooting injust criminals. The good news is.... no ignorant fool like BW Ridenour will be shopping at Whole Foods, yaaaaaa.

Not even Wholefoods to me. Im from FL and all 6 Wholefoods here are on a way higher level. People in Omaha just dont know. Whoever runs this store is all about the money not the quality which is why people shop there in the first place and pay the stupid pricing. Pizza is different and sucks, no raw juice (when your juice sits for a couple days all the beneficial enzymes are gone), plus we get raw wheatgrass/ginger/turmeric shots, water tap on 365 jugs are different, cheap and a hassle, $10 for 4 gluten free cupcakes and the same exact Wholefoods brand is $6.50 in FL, completely organic hot and salad bar FL (you guys are eating GMOs/make them label GMO free if not), hipster central, and I could keep going. I warned the GM that this review was coming; he sounded annoyed. Go somewhere else people, theyre taking advantage of you. Wholefoods: If you continue to have the mentality that youre better and people dont have a choice but to come to you for quality, youre wrong. You will inspire people such as myself to rise up and take you on. Youve already done that. Omaha Wholefoods: Stop patting yourself on the back. Youre store sucks and your dirty style isnt appetizing. Youre not cool and the only one youre fooling is yourself.

We have lived near 7 other whole foods stores in our life and this one is the worst. We eat dinner between 6-8 pm. I dont think we have ever gone there when the hot bar was not congealed and the meat in the hot trays curled and leather-like by that time. They are all about the lunch crowd and have a "screw you" attitude towards the dinner crowd. I had complained to regional about 2 weeks ago so had high hopes there would be some improvement - none. So we decided to have a salad. My husband is all about the croutons - no croutons, no tomatoes and very sorry lettuce that we had to pick through. So we said forget it and decided to eat at home - got home turned on the bbq and opened up the burger and hot dog buns and they were frozen! The coffee area tables are frequently dirty even though it is slow their individual serving stuff in the bakery is often times stale tasting. We are looking forward to Fresh Thyme opening to see if they are an alternative and will start going to natural grocers over by dick blick on Dodge. They dont deserve the 700 we spend there on groceries anymore.

Dont misunderstand the one star rating. The isles were clean and well stocked but the employees never acknowledged me or my wife. The cashier ordered me to unload my basket for her. She didnt even say please. There was a pricing error on their part as well. I had to go and get the price sign for the cashier as no other employee was willing. The cashier had to call a manager over the phone (I assume it was a manager but I was never told if that was who she called) who admitted there was an error in their system. Again no apology. What a disappointing experience in an otherwise good store.

This is generally a clean place with nice enough facilities and product options. Its way expensive compared to other options for organics in my opinion. I rarely buy things here because even a simple tea can cost a dollar more than at other places for no apparent reason. I do like the availability of the eat-in salad bar and wine, just wish it didnt cost so much to try things. Good for the occasional thing but I dont think its worth regular shopping, especially because the other people there are very oblivious and act quite entitled.

Very good selection but that doesnt justify the cost. Also, a fair amount of the merchandise is not organic as one would be led to believe. Excellent buffet area but rotation of variety is lacking. Plenty of space throughout so you dont feel crowded as some of the smaller Whole Foods can make you feel. And thanks to Dylan Ridener. Thanks for your profound display of ignorance. Your stats that you spout arent backed up by cites to credible studies. If youre in the Armed Forces this country is in sad shape.

Far too expensive for no real reason. I dont buy into this whole organics thing (I actually believe the science that shows its mostly a con). I went here to buy a few items that you can only get here and was shocked at the prices of their items. Some things were fairly priced, but most were 2-3 times as expensive as buying at Aldi. They fill a niche, but not one I need. Whole paycheck indeed!

The cashier Alex (girl) is beyond rude to customers, she is condescending and also doesnt do her job right when she refuses to sell alcohol to someone who is 21 and when the manager came over and approved she didnt apologize but gave a snarky look and couldnt say "have a nice day." If this is the kind of employees Whole Foods is hiring now I will not be coming here anymore .

Love this place!!!!! the employees they have working there are completely awesome every time!!! Im from the East Coast and crave fresh seafood and this is about as close in the midwest as i will get!!! The Seafood guy there named Gabe is always helpful and Knowledgable about the product and will recommend the best and update you on them!!! Im a loyal customer for life!

I recommend the bakery for cakes for special occasions. Reasonable and tasty with the whipped cream or cream cheese frosting. They follow instructions for customization, and are friendly. Ive used them several times and not been disappointed. I dont shop much here otherwise, due to location and price, but always have fun when I do.

Great place for lunch, with salad bar and huge array of other hot and cold foods purchased by weight. Would be improved by easy way to purchase and refill cold drinks. Line to buy lunch is very slow. Store has nice specialty items and sells Pacha soaps, which are great. But prices are way too high for regular visits.
