I am writing this review about Four Corners Auto in order to save others from getting burned from this business like we were. We found a car there, and the price was right. They told us their mechanic had checked it and it was in great shape. We took it for a test drive and all seemed fine, but we didn’t take it to another mechanic, which was a big mistake. They handed us a thick file of service records and told us that their mechanic had checked it out and it was fine. We glanced through the file, but didn’t read every page, foolishly trusting that they were being honest with us. After purchasing the car, it started to have a funny smell. We did an oil change, and let it go for a while, but after a few months, we took it to another mechanic to have it checked. They told us, in a nutshell, that the engine was completely shot. It would cost more to fix it than the car was worth. They told us that another mechanic looking at this engine probably would have seen the problems. After reviewing the service record file more carefully, we did find a crumbled repair record that mentioned the exact problem our mechanic had found. We feel that the Four Corners Auto people knew about this problem, but we hoped they would be reasonable if we went and talked to them. An honest business would want to make this right. Perhaps we could get a refund or some money back. Unfortunately, they were not receptive to anything we had to say. They did not care about what had happened, and it seems hard to believe that their mechanic would have missed those major problems. They claimed that they had said the mechanic only did a “safety check.” Four of us were there and heard what they had said originally, which was that the mechanic said it was “fine.” There is no way we would have not had the engine checked independently if they had told us it was just a “safety check.” We have always had vehicles checked, but didn’t do it this time. Always do your due diligence and don’t trust the dealerships. Get an independent check on any car you want to buy. In this case, when given the chance to make it right, they did nothing. Apparently, others have had similar experiences of being sold cars in bad shape and have also lost a lot of money. What we understand is that apparently most of these cars come from trade-ins from Resseler, which are sent to a used Resseler car lot in Belgrade. Whatever doesn’t sell there, gets dumped at Four Corners Auto. As we did more research on this business, we found that they do have a bad reputation. Spread the word. Please think carefully before doing business with FOUR CORNERS AUTO. Buyer beware!

So my husband bought us a 2005 Trail blazer. It had completely bald tires no big deal so we went to Firestone and bought brand new one the next day we head a clicking coming for the wheel well. We took it back to Firestone and had them look at it and come to find out the front differential was cracked. The guys from Firestone said the car was really unsafe to be driving and that they shouldnt have sold the car the way it was. To fix the part it would have been 4500 4corners offered to pay for 2000 of it or give us a deal for another 1000 to put us into a 2009 Malibu so we took it for a test drive and took it to Firestone to get checked out and again they told us this car is seriously unsafe to be driving the ball joints holding the tires could break at any point causing us to wreck, the breaks were about to give out and the struts were giving out also so we declined the offer asked for a refund they agreed. The next day they were giving us more problems about getting our money back and the lady was being rude impolite and just a b****. Then proceeded to tell my husband since they have another trail blazer they would just get the parts off of the other then total it. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. I feel bad for the people who they trick into buying a car for a low price

This is the worst place to buy a car from in all of Gallatin County. Every car on their lot is junk. I didnt buy a car today, but I did test drive one. It was the worst driving car I had ever driven. A 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix gt with 137k miles, priced at 2800$. The alignment was non existent, probably needed ball joints, the car shook horribly at any speed, the transmission was slipping and wouldnt shift correctly at all, it wouldnt down shift when it was supposed to, it didnt up shift when it was supposed to, the engine had no power whatsoever, at full throttle it wouldnt even do 70mph. The brake pedal was really stiff, yet the brakes had no stopping power and the gas pedal was also really stiff. Everyone should be very very cautious dealing with this place, i recommend you dont. They are very shady and their vehicles are junk, they say wholesale prices but with the mileage and condition of most cars on their lots they are asking retail prices for cars they do not do any maintenance on or even make sure are road worthy. They do not have a mechanic inspect or do any work on their cars. Basically, they sell junk, lie about their junk, over charge for their junk, and this is the worst place in the area to purchase a car from.

Read these reviews and share. Im not the type of person to vocalize my opinion about a business publicly but am compelled to do so in this case. My 16 year old daughter worked her butt off at Burger King and saved $2000 in 6 weeks working overtime and her days off to buy a car. This business owned by Dave Ressler advertises great used cars and pictures etc his girlfriend and her two adult daughters run this specific location and sell you cars they intentionally know are junk and cant send to auction because too many things wrong with them and virtually scam you and her car lasted 8 days then died and now they said we dont have a crystal ball nothing we can do sorry tough luck and cheated my 16 year old daughter out of her money! They wont even return my calls or anything ! People Like this dont deserve to be in business and they are well aware of what they are doing. Dont buy a vehicle from Ressler Motors Toyota or Chevrolet or any of his used lots you will be cheated! Please share so as many people as possible get this message and can buy a vehicle from someone who cares!

Let me start by saying Ive bought several cars from Ressler and am pleased with all of them. 4 corners auto is a different story. I Made an appointment earlier in the day to see and drive a car at 5 pm. Show up at 5 to drive the car. The car was still parked under snow at the far end of the lot. I have to go inside to get help to look at it (even though I made an appt). They had to jump it TWICE. In the 20 minutes I was there waiting to drive the car. Then they had to go get plates etc etc. would have been at least 5:30 before I even got to get in the car. Fully planned on buying the car as long as it didnt have any major issues but ended up leave due to their complete and total lack of respect or appreciation for the customer. Save yourself the time and buy from a better dealer.
