Overall great experience! Selection is more than 10 times bigger than Slackers and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can find some gems at the place plus music, books, even board games. The prices are insanely better than Slackers. I saw V-Stock had a certain game for 18.99 and Slackers had the same game for 21.99. This is the same idea for every game between the two. All the games I have purchased so far from Vintage Stock has been working just fine. Some are even scratch free! Extremely happy with the attitude and quality of their products. But, there is a reason they can offer them cheaper and its the only reason I didnt want to give them 5 stars, but they do deserve 5 stars. Anyways, when you trade things in with them they really hit you hard on the store credit they give you. I will say that Slackers upstairs gives you a little bit better of a deal with trade-ins. Only by a couple dollars though and Im never really looking to trade games Im looking to buy. Simply cannot argue with the prices up at V-Stock. I found some games there that are actually more expensive online at Ebay, Amazon, Gamestop exc.. If I could I would give them a 9.5/10 for the soooooo many up sides at the store and the one little downside. If you are a retro gamer looking for games on literally any console, then Vintage Stock is the one-stop shop for you. Almost everything about it is an A+.

I bought a PS2 from them, and it wouldnt read games. Exchanged it for a different PS2. I needed a memory card to go with it, they gave me the wrong one(it was labeled wrong). Exchanged that for the right memory card. They JUST gave me a copy of GTA 3 that will not play at all. I am exchanging that when they open in 3 minutes. Why do you guys give me so much trouble when Im trading items in, as if Im going to rob you; THEN you turn around and sell trash accessories/systems/games and STILL act like WE are the ones in the wrong. You guys need to start checking your items better. This is my third trip BACK to VStock just to exchange broke/wrong/non-working items. Will I be compensated? No, I will be told sorry, and handed another copy of the game that has a 45% chance of working.

My son bought a poster pulling it from the Game of Thrones slot but when his brother opened it up at Christmas it wasnt the correct poster. They had messed up the slot it was in. No big deal. It was well within their grace period to return something that was their mistake to begin with. When we brought it to the store the store went into deep defense of the $7.99 poster and said since it was opened it didnt matter that it was the wrong poster. Calling the manager didnt work in the store so I called back later and spoke with her. She stuck to the defense that worked the first time. Beware and find yourself another place to purchase anything from. Customer service is no good on even a $7.99 undamaged item. Imagine if it was a higher dollar item.

Rude and dismissive employees a little boy tried to talk to one of the male employees and he just blew him off. I tried small talk and got blown off. Went to trade in games based on what their site said about trade ins. Fallout3 and New Vegas, with books very clean disk, offered $4 fucking dollars for BOTH of them. I dont buy from slackers anymore because of the same reason. At least give $10 for each Jesus Christ. Your gonna turn around and sell them for $25-40 a piece. Goto Gametrader best trade in value and usually gives cash.

it has shelves and shelves of all types of books, rows and rows of movies, and even video games or music (two whole floors!). The service is great, along with the whole vibe the store has. The only thing I wish they would change is to add a search catalog so you can see if they have a book you want instead if searching for hours. Good if you want to just look for a good book, but bad if you want to look for a specific one. You mine as well go to the library if you want a specific one, because good luck finding it

Unpleasant experience. Me and a friend were chatting and browsing when an employee elbowed his way into our conversation and started an argument in plain view of the store. This was all because of comic books, as I told my friend I liked DC more and this employee felt the need to "correct" me in the most condescending manner possible. This is a store, not a social media site, and its highly unprofessional for an employee to treat a customer this way.

Great for DVD and video games Not so good for used paperback books. Used to be able to find paperback books but within the last month or so they appear to be no longer taking in paperbacks. Selection is very small (one table). Looks like they are bagging all paperbacks into a bundle to sell.

My favorite video game and anime store.. Plus having movies and books and gamer nerdy merchandize makes my nerdy heart fall more and more for this store! Not all but most stuff is cheaper here and only place I know to get cheap and yet good anime right now.. Love yall v-stock

Very large selection of games and movies from atari to next gen. Buy, rent, or sell is a plus. Large selection of comic books/graphic novels and other books as well.
