We went in for the free cuts for kids. Being new to the area, we figured it would be a great way to try a place, and hopefully go back. Wrong. First, they rescheduled our appointments 3 times, and eventually they ended up with the first times we had anyway. I had 4 kids going in, and wanted 2 at the same time. Thats what was scheduled. When we got there, it was only one girl cutting and so I had to wait for her to do them one at a time. I had let my girls pick cuts they wanted, and the stylist didnt listen at all when I told her what we wanted. Basically they ended up with barely a trim. And my little boy only had the hair on his ears trimmed. I was not impressed. Yes, I understand they were free, but I was happy to tip, and use the stylist in the future. And another stylist was just sitting there so I asked if she could trim mine, and she told me no.

The stores presentation was nice overall, but the bathrooms had a lot of issues. Both paper towel dispensers in the mens room were out, and appeared to have been for a while if the stacks of towels on top of the sink were any indication. In addition, they were running a sales promotion with very unclear advertising. Buying multiple appliances is supposed to award you a gift card. There is a minimum purchase amount to qualify for this offer, but it is only stated in the fine print. I have no problem with the restrictions. However, when all of your advertising does not clearly state them it is deceptive.

The salon is never open and when you call they have a generic voicemail that answers. I finally contacted the district office to find out they are only open Thursday - Saturday at the moment as they only have 2 stylists. I think they could be successful if they get organized with simple things like answering the phone, informing clients of hours, and staffing to cover normal salon hours. I would recommend beginning advertising also to allow clients to know that they are there. Good luck as you will need it at current rate.

The optical is TERRIBLE. Not only is it expensive but theres always only 1 person though helping 1 person for hours! Every time Ive been to this jcpennys it seems like they try to sweep you into buying more stuff that you dont need. Would NOT recommend. 3rd In line and it took 3 hours to get to me. REDICULOUS

We were looking for long sleeve moisture wicking shirts. We have reactions to the sun. They had tons of merchandise to go through that were in sale. We found what we needed. Messy sale racks. The clerk was there to help. Ok experience.

would love to see the store carry more talls for women. some of the items I have ordered on -line from tall department are poor quality, some of the sweaters have rips and had to return...the fit is not always the same

Took teen daughter shopping for "nice clothes". Found what we needed, nice selection, had 20% mailed coupon plus cashier gave us another 10%. Easy in and out. Will be a first choice for shopping.

They definitely need a new housekeeping staff it was filthy in that store dust and dirt on the ledges by the escalators looked like it had not been touched in years.

JCPenney is a good place for childrens clothing. The furnishings are not too impressive. Otherwise, the store is branded well with the original business model.
