I absolutely love this shop! The staff are incredibly friendly and the prices are great. The amount of comics in this shop is out of this world. If youre looking for a comic book that you cant find anywhere else, youre sure to find it here. This store has thousands, yes I said thousands, of comic books. All of the comics are organized in alphabetical order, so you dont have to spend countless hours searching for that one comic that may or may not even be there. The shop also has a lot of trade in comic volumes towards the back of the store as well as some 25 cent bins and merchandise. This shop is also home to the largest selection of gold and silver age comics I have ever seen, which are very reasonably priced. Comic Relief also has 4 different sizes of comic bags and boards for you to choose from for all of your comic book protecting needs (current issue size, silver age size, golden age size and magazine size). Their bags and boards run about 25 to 30 cents each, which is a fair price, and are of good quality. Dont be afraid to ask the staff questions about comics or anything else you might need they are friendly, patient, and are there to help you. I will definitely be back in the next time I am in the St. Louis/St. Charles area. I would give this shop an infinite amount of stars. Make sure the next time youre in this area to put this on your list of places to check out! :)

Ive been a customer of these guys for a few years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. When I first started buying comics, there was a shop closer to me. But after stopping in Comic Relief when I was in the area, I decided Id rather make the trip out for them than go to the store nearer my location. The clerks are friendly, helpful, and talkative. Theyve always taken good care of me and their other customers and they have great sales on a regular basis. Even in this economy, where cash is tight, I still keep buying comics from Comic Relief because of the great experiences I have with them. If you read comics and live in the St. Louis/St. Charles area, look no further than these guys.

Comic Relief is one of the most welcoming comic book stores I have ever encountered. The staff are really passionate about what they do and are great at sharing their enthusiasm with others. They go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for if you ask but are happy to let you just browse and experience the store on your own too. They have a great selection that is easy (and fun!) to browse as well as some fantastic annual sales. The shop seems to really value its customers and it shows. Definitely worth checking out whether youre new to comics or a seasoned veteran.

I came to Comic Relief in 2012 and its my go to shop. They let me come in and shop without hovering like some other shops do. Their back issues are organized wonderfully and its really the only place to go to in the area that give you that comic shop feel from your younger days. Their subscriber program is great, I get 20% off my subscriptions and that makes my budget for books go that much further.

No clue what that Zack fool was talking about... Huge selection one of the best in the area. Staff was friendly, informative and conversational. Helped me find what I was looking for and will be going back. Theyve got older rare books too check them out.

Very rude convention staff. If they had a super power it would be sucking. They didnt have enough comics to fill a shoebox. Didnt want any problems, but they sure were looking for them. Made me feel very unwelcome and just seemed downright mean.

This the best shop in the area. The guys who work there are helpful and friendly. They keep a large inventory of back issues, trades and collectables like busts and figures etc.
