While visiting Klein s Jewelry, Fetus, Missouri, I also spent an enormous amount of time in Books Galore on main street. I am a professor of sociology and have shopped at many bookstores in my 36 years of full time teaching and research usually in college towns. Books Galore is the best book store to find and purchase used books. For NOT being a college town, I discovered that this bookstore is well organized , full of relevant fiction and non-fiction titles. It is one of the best bookstore I have encountered. It is jewel. Great local bookstore! I stopped here when in the area looking for nothing in particular but was really happy I stopped. Its a buy/sell/trade store and the prices on used books were great, the service was friendly and helpful and the selection was great. You really cant beat a locally owned bookstore with hand written signs and dim lighting :)

The fact that its been in business for 8 yrs was great. Book stores have a hard time these days. They have in store. And online sales. They buy used. Thats what I need to do is sell. Have quite a wide range of books. Just need to move them for new books to read.

I always have a good experience at Books Galore. The staff are friendly and helpful and they have a great selection. I often bring books to trade in and am given a fair amount of store credit, which I usually immediately use to buy more books.

This is a huge, awesome, used book store. Great selection of books, friendly staff, well organized, full of fiction (including Christian Fiction) and non-fiction titles, and numerous older used books in stock and has reasonable prices.
