I got a tat on the back of my neck that said Stop Staring at Me on my 23rd Bday. Later that night, Im looking at it and my sister tells me it is spelled wrong-stareing! Before a tattoo is even started, the designs are picked, colors are decided, and the entire concept is discussed. Dont you think knowing how to spell a word correctly would be high on that list? Especially since tats are meant to be permanent. So i had to come in the next day and he made me bring a dictionary to prove it was spelled wrong(!!!), then I had to wear it wrong until it healed and then every letter had to be made larger, and now they are all off center and trailing off the side of my neck. I hate it now, and this was my Bday gift to myself. I have never recommended them and have even talked poeple out of going there for a tat. Hes no good, cocky, and unprofessional.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and fun! Always joking and making you feel comfortable. They seem knowledgeable and approachable, willing to help. Totally confident in the cleanliness of the store. No problems will healing. The only problems we have with it are the piercings we have are a bit off, although Im sure that happens all the time. My fiance got his septum pierced and it is crooked, one side drifting to the back, and I got my nipples pierced and one piercing is basically on the nipple instead of the junction of the nipple and areola (just a little more painful and a little less symmetrical with the other one). We arent too worried about either, and they are so well priced and so much fun that we will always go back to Next Gen!

Jon is an EXCELLENT artist. My first impression of him was that he was extremely picky about his work and antisocial to potential clients (this was because I was asking for a cliche tattoo that I would honestly regret - and he was preparing to serve a scheduled client). I scheduled a time to return (his schedule is typically full) for a 5-hr slot. In this time, he was able to produce a large and detailed piece that I was happy to wear. I highly suggest purchasing the store lotion (he makes it himself) as it was very effective during the healing process. Lupiderm is alright; super healing schidt is perfect. - an anonymous client of his whos arms are reserved for his work

BEWARE! Nathan did a tattoo for me 2 weeks ago. It was my mothers handwriting. He made copies of her handwriting, placed it on my arm, got it perfectly straight, and started the tattoo... Upon completion, I was HORRIFIED! He didnt follow the lines and ended up misspelling a word and giving me a grammatical error permanently on my skin.. Jon, the owner, refused a refund, stating that I got what I paid for using a "cheap" artist... BEWARE OF THIS "CHEAP" SHOP!

This place is amazing. Last night was the first time I had been there and I was impressed. They are extremely clean there and the staff is amazing. Me and my daughter got our Monroe Piercings done and my mom got her nose piercing. I would definitely reccomend them to anyone and I know that is where I will be returning for more piercings and also for tattoos. Great job guys!

Next Generation is very clean and friendly. As soon as you walk in the door your greeted with a smiling face. Ive had two, soon to be three, piercings from there and my boyfriend recently got a tattoo as well. My piercings healed great along with my boyfriends tattoo and I would definitely recommend Next Generation to anyone looking to get a professional piercing or tattoo.

I use Billy as a piercer and have gotten several things done with him hes friendly, expierenced, and most importantly clean. I use Zack for my tattoo artist and he does beautiful custom work. he is always careful to make sure you are getting what your wanting and is NOT heavy handed (less painful). I have used these guys for 12 years and would never fo anywhere else!

My tattoo is what they called "busted" which means the tattoo artist went into deep and my ink ran also he didnt even color it all the way he missed a spot of yellow my dad also went the same day I did and had even worse problems than me worst tattoo place ever I will never go back if I could have gave 0 stars I would have DO NOT get a tattoo from them

I got a tattoo done by Lucas. He did an amazing job! I got exactly what i wanted and it looks awesome! Ill definitely be going back to him for any future tattoos. Also my nephew got his industrial done here and my boyfriend got his nipples pierced here. They did a great job with those as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone whos looking

I now have four tattoos from Next Generation. Two from Nathan and two from Jon. I did not have a problem with any of the art, or the artists. Jon makes you feel so at ease, and makes the whole experience light and fun. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. I already have several more pieces in mind and will go nowhere else.

I came in with design ideas that, unfortunately, were pretty bad, but luckily the staff was cool and professional enough to let me know instead of just taking my money and letting me get a tat that would look horrible in a couple of years. If you want great artists with pride in their work, this is the place to go.

I got a belly piercing here. He used a hoop instead of a curved barbell and it took a few months to heal, and it only did so after I changed the ring I was using. It was my first body piercing and didnt realize the difference - but a difference it did make. He was nice, but I wont be going back there.

My husband got his arm redone by Luke and its amazing. he added somethings and shaded it all it looks awesome. Im going to use him for all my tattoos. Hes going to do my sons foot prints. I cant wait to see how they turn out!!!!:) Luke! You are the best great job man.

Luke did my tattoo on my spine and I absolutely love it! The staff were all very friendly and polite. I would recommend this place to anyone! My friend also got her nose pierced here and had a great experience. They also have very reasonably priced body jewelry.

Several years ago I got my nostril and eyebrow done. So professional and no problems whatsoever. Perfect piercings. I never take my jewelry out, even for bed, the piercings are so comfortable. I want to go back soon and get a pair of lowbrets and a helix.

Awesome place, in and out in five minutes, got my tongue periced and they gave me how to instructions to take care of it and were very detailed and informative. I am definitely going back for more that are that good.

Do yourself a favor, and go here. Its Springfields oldest tattoo shop, and probably Springfields best. Even though I just came in for simple adjustments to my only piece, Ill definitely be back for my next piece!
