GIVE PC SOLUTIONS A TRY! Youll be glad you did. There are plenty of "supposed" PC repair shops in Kansas City, but Jim, the owner, gives you his personal attention. He listens to you and is understanding of your needs. There is no long wait to get your PC repaired. His company is fast, efficient and gets you back in the cyber world without youre having to do without your computer for days or weeks at a time. His company has repaired my computer at his shop, and one time, he was able to troubleshoot some real problems remotely as I was out of town. The best part is he does not charge the high prices that youd pay at the box stores or Geek Squad. I let someone use my laptop and when I got it back I was unable to get past THE BLACK SCREEN... everyone I asked about the screen was like oh man thats the hard drive :( so I went online and found PC solutions of KC and called Jim and left a message so he called back and I made arrangements to drop off my laptop at his home after I got off work and he was able to confirm the problem and also fixed some other horrible issues that this person did to my laptop. I even apologized for the hassle because it sounded really bad lol He called me several times to tell me about the issues and keep me updated. 3-4 hours later here Im writing this review. I would recommend him and will call him first for any issues Im having. Thank you so much and I appreciate your very speedy service.

Jim is an outstanding IT person. This was my first experience with him and his company although came to me with highest approval from my students and friends that have had technical work with him.. I have FULL confidence in his understanding of his fields in IT and his Costmer Service. He truly went the extra mile to assure me that my lab top was in Original condition PLUS!!! Jims Demeter is exceptional. I am a senior citizen and his explanations were exacting, precise and spoken with a slow and understandable American English. My lifes work has been in Art Education from Kindergarten to Gradate University. I found Jim to be very knowledgeable as well as a top professional person. I do not have to look for help with my PC any more I have my IT person. Thank you Jim!

Awesome service! Jim is the guy if you have any problems with your laptop or any PC. He fixed my Samsung laptop within minutes and he only charge me almost nothing. Its definitely a fair price! The loud clicking noise from my Samsung laptop was now gone. He even gave me his personal quality advice to keep my laptop working. Not only that, he added a little something extra stuff to my laptop for free. That is true service! So go see Jim if you are having laptop or PC issues. He will help you. Thanks too for all the positive reviews that were previously posted. It gave me a direction and a peace of mind. My travel to PC Solutions was really worth it. I have used Jim multiple times over the last several years and he has always over-delivered. Recently while on a business trip in Chicago my hard drive went kaput. The techs out here (Geek Squad, and others) werent very knowledgeable about data recovery or even how to reinstall an operating system without purchasing a new copy. So I called Jim and even though I was out of town with no way of retaining his services, he walked me through what I needed to do and coached me through a successful operating system reinstall. Where do you find service like that??? You dont. If you have computer repair needs, PC Solutions is your first and final destination.

Just called this location & spoke with the owner "Jim." I was looking into having the LCD on my Surface Pro replaced--turns out this isnt a repair service he currently offers on this device. He directed me to another shop in the KC area (Mission Repair in Olathe) & even gave a secondary recommendation (MicroCenter in OP) if they didnt offer the service either. Very kind & professional--even pointing me towards other businesses that are his competitors, which IMO takes an individual of integrity to do when youre in business for yourself. Would definitely do business with Jim in the future should I need any other PC or laptop-related repairs.

After 6 months of annoying pop-ups my computer finally crashed. I spent a week without a computer fearing the hassle of finding someone, the diagnosis, and the cost of repairs. On a Sunday I started researching computer repair. I called PC Solutions hoping to get hours and location to drop off this mess on the following Monday. I was surprised a person answered the phone, asked a few questions and I was actually dropping off my computer an hour later, which I then picked up four hours later, FIXED !! That was so ridiculously easy why did I wait so long ?

Honest, Fast, and Quality - I was very pleased with PC Solutions of Kansas City. I had one computer with a bunch of viruses on it and another desktop that I needed reset back to when I just got it. These guys were able to help me out very quickly, provided great service and kept me in the know, and got my computers back to me in a very quick fashion. I would recommend them 100% over any other shop around, and their prices are extremely fair! You would be hard pressed to find a more friendly and reliable company for your computer needs.

I just called Jim (at 8PM and he answered) in a panic about a computer were selling that magically has a problem now and he took the time to give us very helpful tips on how to fix it without spending a dime. How many companies do that these days? Even if the tips dont work, at least he tried and said to call him again if we need more help. I value that kind of service greatly. PC Solutions was the best & fastest experience with computer repair that Ive ever had. Jims knowledge and professionalism are impressive, and I highly recommend him if you need work done on your PC. My PC was basically junk & unusable, but less than 24 hours after Jim had picked up my computer, it was back, running more smoothly and faster than it ever had before.
