I *LOVE* this store. Its a very fun, yet laid back store that young and old can both enjoy. Not only is the staff extremely knowledgeable about what their selling, they also have a great sense of humor(which can be seen through out the store). They are a store that has a lot of toys that cannot be bought at regular big box toy stores, and kids love them(and are often hard to get out of the store because of it). They also have a great selection of hard to find science supplies, and other items for home schoolers. In the rare case they dont carry the supplies you need, they can either order them for you, or tell you where to get them. I highly recommend this store to anyone who likes science, and anyone that has or shops for kids. P.S.: Ask to see their collection of two headed animals.

The store is absolutely packed with cool fun toy & science options...but even more impressive was how they responded to a product defect. I bought a nice chess board, and one of the pawn pieces was actually missing. I had bought it for my nieces & nephew in Iowa, so thats where we found out the issue. The store apologized and promptly shipped a new pawn to my family in Iowa, along with a couple small free gifts/schwag to sweeten the inconvenience. All in all, it reminded me how there still IS terrific customer service out there. So I highly recommend this place. So give your business to this local company that actually cares about your satisfaction! :)

This shop is tiny, but bursting with cool toys. I was promptly helped by a person who had a great background in the stock and also what her customers had said about various toys. I was trying to fill a rather difficult request within a specific budget, and she found multiple options for me within less than five minutes. I got a great gift for my little recipient, and to top it all off, they gift-wrapped it free of charge. I am going to recommend this store to everyone I know.

Easily the best and most unique toy store in all of KC. Its a great place for oddities and rocks as well. It is a bit small and crowded, so it can be tough to visit as a family with children.
