Prices are steady going up daily! There are rarely any REAL SALES! I use to go to Schnucks twice a week. Now, I may go once a month. I purchased, Lewis 12 Grain 1/2 loaf of Bread. Regularly $1.69 a loaf. Today, it was on sale for $1.69 regularly $1.89. I live alone and hate to throw away food. (I have purchased this same loaf at other local stores for $1.69. I checked (2) OTHER STORES TODAY, it was STILL, $1.69. I decided to only buy a few items and go somewhere else in a few days. I have been Working in Food Service Management for; Large Hospital Chains and, Large School Districts. The BIGGER YOU ARE, THE BETTER THE PRICING YOU CAN BID FOR. (SCHNUCKS HAS DECIDED TO TAKE AN EXTREMELY LARGE PROFIT AND THE CUSTOMERS ARE HELPING BY THE HIGHER PRICES!) DONT FORGET THE WAREHOUSE WORKERS WHO LOST THERE JOBS. (188 - If I Remember Right!) UNION WORKERS! SCHNUCKS IS SAVING MONEY BUY USING NON-UNION WORKERS AT LOWER WAGES! I have ALWAYS BEEN A FAIR JUST PERSON, BUSINESS OR NOT! (I WILL NOT KEEP PATRONIZING SCHNUCKS) Customers! You need to think about what you spend on groceries at ALL STORES! Food, Beverages, Clothing, Shoes, Etc. Stay safe, and healthy.

I just wanted to pay my electric bill, in and out very quickly. But no one was at the customer service desk. I asked a cashier and she told me "the guy is over in the meat department" Didnt seem she was planning on making any effort to find him, so i walk over to the meats. No one is there. I go to produce, no on there either. In the frozen foods section someone directed me back to the service desk saying "the guy" just passed by a minute ago. I get back to customer service and a woman greats me and says there is no "guy" here. (Was there ever? Idk...) so she takes my money and says my bill is paid. But she didnt give me my recipt. As i was walking out the door i realized so i went back to get it. Now a man is working behind the desk and he said there is no woman working the desk today. Just him. Can I get my recipt? As far as he knows I didnt pay my bill! I HOPE my electric bill is paid this month, otherwise I just got jacked. That was on May 20 2016 at 2:45 p.m.

schnucks bridgeton may seem like a good place, but after working in this location for three years, i had to quit. i worked in the meat department for three years, and what i was tought to be the way to run this buisness, and what iu was shown on how to extend sales of meat where revolting they grind up rotten fat shavings from there pork shoulders into there sausage, and have no regards for human comsumtion. i was there main cleaner and they would go from 3-6 weeks without cleaning thier meat cases, the whole time they would place there packages in these discusting, sour blood stenched meat cases, and the conditions of the inside of the meat cutting room was less than desirable. they overlooked cracks in the walls, and rust on the ham slicers, and on most of the machinery, they believed bleaching everything , would make it safe, but hey cared little for your safty as long as they made a quick buck off of your suffering , DONT SHOP HERE EVER !!!!

I gave this place a sour review five months ago, but things have improved. The biggest change is that employees try very very hard to keep the store in good condition and to help. Big change for the better. Princess Patty needs an attitude adjustment. It was late, and some customers had just one or two items. An employee named Patty enters the only line with a cart full of groceries. I would have let the customers with a couple of items check out and leave. So would most Schnucks customers. However, this employee does not extend the courtesy that Schnuck customers extend to each other. She unloads all her stuff, then quibbles about a coupon she was not entitled to, and generally takes a long time, even when considering how many items she bought.. This store is top notch, but at night there is a different attitude. Patty doesnt get it and neither does the night manager. It isnt the first example of this on the late shift.

Just awful. The deli clerk refused to slice me lunch meat and told me I had to buy what was already in the case, but it was all sliced extremely thick. So I explained my problem to customer service and they just responded, "oh, hes new. He dont know how." My question is why wouldnt he be scheduled with a trainer? I was going to spend almost $30 on meat and walked out completely empty handed because nobody could help me or knew how to slice meat. This location disappoints me daily. Im sad that you are my local grocery store.

Far too few vegan options. Been trying to get them to order Morningstar Farms Meal Starters Steak Strips. So far, no luck. Looks like I am going to have to drive all the way to Shop and Save in Arnold to get them. Irritates the living daylights out of me. I will just order a case at a time in order to avoid making the drive as often.

Lady at the customer service desk was rude. I walked up to the desk and two women acted like they didnt notice me. The store is always clean. But they need to focus on customers first. The cashiers are always great.

One of the best Schnucks in St. Louis. The alcohol section is the best Ive seen in a grocery store, rivaling a better-class standalone shop. Whoever is in charge of their beer knows their stuff.
