Their Customer Service, handling problems and RETURNING PHONE CALLS, needs more training time in the worst way. We purchased a living room set 1 year ago. We have been having an going problem with the back cushions on the sofa. We have had them replaced 4x and the same thing keeps happening. Since the whole sofa thing started we have through 1 store mgr. and 2 associate mgr., all where fired and now we are dealing with a store mgr. who does return phones calls, actual no one returns phone calls in the Manchester Store. They have agree to pick up our sofa and love seat and return our money. We schedule pick up and had to cancel do to a family emergency. I called and left a message told the person it was VERY important. I also called the place that was picking up the furniture, had to leave a message on VM, left my number 3x to cancel the pick up and call me when they received the message. No return call and I received a call at 6:15 AM telling me they were on there way. I canceled the pick up.

If there was a negative star, I would mark that. Their customer service is so unacceptable. Once there is an issue, they completely ignore call backs.... I even wrote the President of the company and got a useless form letter back. They simply do not care! NEVER buy furniture from this company (even if you have bought successfully in the past, as we had for several pieces - obviously, loyal customers do not matter) There are too many good furniture stores out there to put up with horrible customer service from this one. I am certain that unless their service changes, they will not be in business at some point. UNBELIEVABLY BAD - from the local manager to the CEO!

The sales person was just ok. But after the chair arrived it had such a chemical smell (ordered a leather recliner) I couldnt keep it in my apt. After several attempts to contact the local store for a return and refund with no solution, I called the regional director then the presidents office. Several days of back and forth I finally was able to return the chair. Still waiting for the refund to show up on my credit card. I suggest if you are serious about a new recliner to have a look at Bassett. While slightly more expensive the $200.00 more was worth it because of the overall positive experience.

Price gougers! Found a couch at another store and decided to give this store an opportunity for availability and price. Low and behold, I found exactly the same couch at this store, fabric and all - for over 4 times as much money! Needless to say, I returned to the original store and bought it for 1/4 of this stores price. The sales gals response, was "Oh, well, we can price match" Guess if you dont ask, they will be glad to take you for everything you have! Hang onto your wallet and shop elsewhere!

If youre gonna make fun of a customer for a question, and if you and your fellow employees who are standing in the center are gonna call his wife something inappropriate when you think they are in a different area of the store but they went over to a sofa they WERE planning on buying, then I dont understand and think you need to be and stay in business. Thanks, La-Z-Boy, for making our experience absolutely wonderful...

Lazy Boy is like most other furniture stores, furniture on display and sales people trying to sell furniture. I have no real complaints because the salespeople were pretty friendly here. Also, no raving review because it was not exceptional.
