Tried Best Buys Insignia brand product, an external camera flash for (all) Canon DSLR cameras. I have the Rebel SL1 model, which Best Buy sells, and the sales guy said the flash would be totally compatible. The pictures came out dark, apparently the flash wasnt communicating with the cameras instructions on how bright the flash needed to be. Software compatibility issue most likely. So, I tried to return the flash. I brought my camera in to prove it wasnt actually compatible. The stores general manager didnt care to even find out which model of canon DSLR wouldnt work with it. Again, this was Insignia brand - best buys own store brand. I tried several times over the 30 days to make it work but it just isnt compatible. They refused to make a true refund and could care less what my problem was. Only store credit because I was past the 15 day return policy. The manager will continue selling this flash for the wrong camera without a care. He was rude and dismissive the whole time. Now Im stuck with $80 on a gift card and nothing I need to spend it on. A general manager is usually able to understand the big picture, loss of my business, bad reviews, etc. He simply doesnt care and it shows. The cashier was sympathies but her hands were tied. I was polite the whole time but expected to receive a refund due to bad marketing on Insignias behalf. Amazon Prime here I come. Theres really no point shopping at a big box store anyway. Not once has an employee there ever answered one of my questions effectively. They say "hold on, let me ask my manager", and then he still has no idea what hes talking about. I say "he", because Ive never seen a female manager there. So after not getting any answers and having to figure things out yourself, you try to make a purchase and.....the employees either dont know how to work the check-out computers, or the computers are down. Every time I try to use a coupon or a Reward Zone certificate, theres a problem. One way or another, they say they arent going to take them, the computer wont let them, etc. etc., then I end up waiting for 15 minutes, and magically they find some way of accepting. Not only that, but one manager literally just straight up treated me like a criminal when I tried to use a coupon along with benefits from my membership. He raised his voice and started accusing me of trying to cheat them. A simple "no" would have sufficed. I will never go back to this location. No one knows what they are doing, and Im not just saying that. Go in and ask them a question if a game has multiplayer or if a computer will run a certain program. They will look like their world just fell around them and nothing but darkness exists. Then theyll get the manager, if they can find him. They generally cant find him.

I went into Best buy here in Gulfport, Ms on Sat. after black Friday, now the nice young lady that help me was Vikki, but my problem with best buy, I went in to buy two iPads, the one they had on sale and the iPad air, well they were out of the one that was on sale for 299. and thats fine just stop advertising and take the display model down, I heard one of the mangers tell another customer they were out and that was that, now of course they didnt say that to me, but my thing if you run out of something dont be rude, just take the display down, and dont advertise it anymore, now for the iPad air I bought it rung up 499. and she called the manger over and they told me it was off sale, I had to pull the ad up on my iPhone, its like I was lying, and then I was going to buy a case for it, the case rung up 59.99, and it had a sticker buy it saying it was 49.99, the manager went there and saw it had the sticker buy it, but it was that brand, I am really a little ticked with best buy, I really dont think I will be back to the store.

I work in IT and when friends ask me where to buy a computer, I will tell them NOT BEST BUY. I purchased an open box laptop that had minor cosmetic damage from Best Buy in SL City. The sales guy there said I could bring it back to any Best Buy within 15 days no questions asked. Everything was ok w/ the laptop EXCEPT the battery life which is a deal breaker bc I travel. So I tried returning it on the 12th day to this Best Buy and the manager(s) were rude and condescending and told me they cant take it back bc of the cosmetic damage that was there when I purchased it! I even called corporate and they talked to the manager of the store but they wouldnt budge. Anyway, I just found the issue causing the battery to drain was due to a faulty wlan driver that I fixed and now running fine. I have no problem keeping the laptop now, and plus I learned this valuable lesson about this Best Buy

Terrible manager. I got a digiland cheap tablet but it got decent reviews. I ordered it online for a gift and had it for 2 weeks before opening it. First day it broke and didnt think much of bringing it in there and exchanging for different brand. The customer service girl explained only 14 days to return/exchange and I was over that. I explained that it was either broken in shipping or it broke with in an hour of using it (screen work but had a split in the seem). The manager came over to not help me out but call me a liar, saying I told them 2 different stories. Instead of diffusing the situation by "A" exchanging for a new one, or as I later was explained on the phone, "B" there is a one year warranty and to go through the manufacturer and they will replace or even refund as they know there were problems with these units....why are you still selling them Best Buy??

I was very disappointed in this store. Prattville, Alabama store is so much better. Im here visiting my parents and my Dad needed a new tv. Talked him into going to Best Buy. My father has health issues and is not able stand for long periods of time. Went thinking we would be in and out quickly. We stood around for at least 30 minutes before someone asked if we needed help. This person had no clue about the tvs he was interested in. We asked for the remotes to try the tvs out that he was interested in. The guy could not find them, left us standing there. The guy could not even answer questions about the tvs when he was there. This was around 3:30 in the afternoon on June 2, 2017. The store was not busy. We ended up leaving and will be going somewhere else to purchase a tv. Very Disappointed in this store. My parents will not be back!!!!!.

Linguistically speaking (Im a linguist), there is actually not a country called "America". Plus, it isnt said as "Uh-mehr-ih-kah", its said as "Ah-may-rree-kah." Its a Spanish name, not an English one. Ustados Unidos de America. The United States of America is a country, but America is not. America consists of two continents. North America and South America. Techincally, the U.S.A. is called "the Federal Republic of the United States of America" (F.R.U.S.A.), as it is a Federal Republic, not a Democracy. Hence, the use of delegates in the final Presidental election vote results, which determines the outcome of who the next President of the Federal Republic of the United States of America will be, instead of the popular vote being used as a determination of the results of said election.
