I have purchased at least 4 sets of tires from this store, but the last experience will be the last time I purchase from Discount Tires. I purchased a set of tires for my wifes car 3 months back. She recently brought it in for an oil change and when they put it on the lift, they noticed that the front tires were significantly out of allignment (toed out) and they were likely that way when the tires were put on. The tires were very badly worn. We looked online and found out that Discount Tires doesnt do anything relative to checking allignment. We didnt expect much, but we went into the store to see what they would do. We had the allignment report and our receipt and my wife told them the whole story. The guy behind the counter was somewhat quiet, but looked at the receipt, looked up on the computer and said," we dont have those tires in stock, but I can get them in on Monday and we will take care of you". We were happily surprised thinking that when he said he would take care of us, it meant that they would make the situation a little less painful. When my wife got the tires put on on Monday, they charged her full price plus lifetime balancing and rotation (again). We made the mistake of thinking that they would "take care of us" - certainly if I had known they were going to charge full price, I would have gone elsewhere. I will definitely be getting my tires from a company that checks allignments in the future. Purchasing from Discount Tires ended up costing me an extra $335. If you get tires here - make sure you get your allignement checked elsewhere so you dont end up like us.

I was extremely impressed! They did the job quickly and I had brought my 5 yr old daughter with who loved (as well as myself) that we were able to sit at the stools in front of the huge window and watch them work on our car. I also loved that they thought of people bringing children by having blocks, crayons, coloring books ect set out to keep the little ones busy....I was planning to only replace two tires for now (as Im a single mom of 2 and could not by any means afford 4 tires...even when purchasing the cheapest ones) and the manager had come and told me that one tire was starting to show threads and the others were completely smooth and hed already had them putting all 4 on for me and let me pay for them a month or so later. I couldnt believe it, he will never know how much that means to me! Especially considering Im sure they arent technically supposed to do that yet he wanted to know wed be driving away safely. I will ALWAYS be coming back to Discount Tire to show my gratitude :)

I was disappointed with my experience at discount tire. It took three trips to get the correct tires. On my first visit, discount tire noticed that one of the new tires was damaged. I wished that they wouldve caught it before I had come in. I figured it wasnt their fault and was glad that they had at least caught it. Discount ordered a new tire and in a week I had the new tires on and I should have been good to go. Not the case. I was working on my car a few days later and noticed that discount just put the damaged tire on. To make things worse, they didnt torque down all the lug nuts. They were quick to get the problem fixed, but I was still greatly disappointed in their quality and care. I track my car from time to time and if I hadnt caught the bad tire, who knows what wouldve happened. I dont plan on going back to discount tire any time soon.

Best tire place out there (and Ive tried most all of them). These guys are always very respectful, quick, and above all else - honest. We have taken many cars here for many things and they always get it done with a smile. Not to mention, the price is always quite reasonable. As long as you get in the door before they close, they will get your car done before leaving. Very appreciative for their service over the years. Only complaint is that I wish they did mechanical work too - it would be great to find a mechanic I can trust as much as I do these guys!

Initial tire purchase install was quick. No pressure upsell, no hidden costs for stems, balancing, disposal, etc. When I came back with a screw embedded in the tread, they told me it couldnt be repaired since it was too close to the sidewall. My options were to replace the tire for $35 (about half original cost) or replace with upgrade to free road hazard replacement on all 4 wheels for about $55 (including the replacement tire). Best auto-related service Ive had.

I brought my classic car in this morning to have my tires balanced that were mounted and balanced by Discount Tire a couple of years ago, I was willing to pay to have it done but to my surprise there was no charge. I ohave bought a few sets of tires from them over the years for a number of different vehicles and have always been happy with there tires and their service. I would recommended Discount Tire to all my friends and anybody looking for excellent service.

Without a doubt THE best tire store anywhere. Weve been using Discount Tire exclusively for about 20 years, and this particular store since it opened in 2005. We currently drive about 40 miles from our home in Wisconsin to continue our relationship with them. We consistently have courteous and professional service from people who are truly concerned about complete customer satisfaction, and always go far above and beyond expectation to achieve that goal.

I have been going to the Discount Tire in Stillwater since moving to the Twin Cities several years ago and this location is no different than my past experiences....great staff, great service, and great prices. JJ at Discount Tire was awesome. I came in for a tire rotation and to have the lugnuts on my vehicle looked at because I was quoted for 20 new ones. He looked them over and told me only 5 were needed to be changed out and he did it at no charge. I now can drive without worry. Will definitely recommend Stillwater location.

They go above and beyond the call of duty to take care of your situation and they are affordable and dont nickle and dime you in any way. I would not buy tires from any other company. Of all the dt stores in twin cities, people at stillwater location is much nicer by far. Caution, watch their work on your car because those hourly kids in garage can damage your car while lifting it and taking centercaps off. One of mine got destroyed and they never told me, i found out after i got home
