I dont like that the accept free items with mostly Volunteers working and then ask you to donate at the end of your purchase. You should study up on the big rich wealthy wigs that run this shady business and hide behind the word "nonprofit"!! They mark used stained old Kmart, Walmart, and target clothing for the retail price and sometimes more?? I had read in the paper that the previous day a 20 year old single poor mom got arrested and charges pressed against her for "stealing their free items" and when I went in to speak to the manager to pay for the poor mothers NEEDED items she had stolen they said I couldnt pay to get her out of trouble and they are pressing charges. I couldnt believe it! That they would scar a young mothers reputation for life? The fat hogs billion dollar industry isnt enough? They have to take down the poor too? I also do charity work and give poor single moms food, diapers, clothing and whatever they need if I can. Oddly I get LOTS of requests for furniture. Mainly beds so their children dont have to sleep on the floor. I called goodwill and finally got through to the district manager and they said NO WAY would they help. I even called the goodwill where they send stained beds or tables with chairs missing and they said NO WAY THEY WILL NOT HELP! I am saddened and appalled that the goodwill is so CORRUPT!!!

Yes I visit this store as I like to treasure hunt and save money but I have been to other Goodwills and this one in comparison is messy, dirty and there are always people that seem to just come there to play and hang out which is really a turn off! Children are not watched and they are often playing with all the toys and making the mess. Adults are often standing in the crowded aisles chatting on their cell phones or lounging on the furniture waiting for...what I am not sure. I think they could do better in making even more money by organizing and enforcing some common sense guidlines with those who shop there like, watch your kids and if you want to chat on your cell, please get out of the way of others, and no loitering in or ouside the store.

We had a terrible experience. The store manager Renee was completely rude when we asked questions. We asked about a sale and she was rude and snotty when she responded then she told us we could have the item we were wanting for the sale price of half off and then later went on and told us we couldnt even though she was the one who said we could and wrote us up a price tag and everything. She went back on her word and blamed us for hearing it wrong from another costumer and employee. She was rude and went back on her word. Terrible management skills.

Actually Goodwill in Stillwater is one of the best Goodwills that Ive ever been to. They really do have the best stuff in stock to buy and you can go there on Tuesdays and if you buy the color coded thing that you want it 75% off. Yes I check it out every Tuesday to see if anything is there worth buying and worth getting 75% off and usually I do find a few things that I like but its usually all picked through. Its always really busy up there and theres only one person in the checkout lane so you have to wait in line forever to check out.

The prices at this Goodwill are $4-5 higher than at the other Goodwills in the area. Renee the asst mgr also treats you like you are a thief when you go to return items. It makes you feel like a real criminal. Its worth the drive over to Woodbury to not be treated so rudely!

General rule of thumb, the surrounding community and its resident are always a good indication of the things youll find and the condition theyll be in. In this case, its stillwater, a lot of varied selection and better yet theyll still be in good to near new condition.

I went there one day at 4:50pm. The girl at the counter said, "we are closed you have to leave". The store is open until 5:00pm. So I had plenty of time to shop but I could not. I thought the girl was very rude and I wont be going back any time soon.

Since all Gwills have changed their return policy I find Im a lot more particular in what I purchase and therefore buy less to avoid the hassle. This locations prices are consistantly higher than others.

The pricing at this Goodwill (like many others in the Twin Cities area) makes me feel they have forgotten that theyre selling used or rejected donated items. Absurdly high prices!

Decent selection and the returns process is easy. Didnt give five stars because checking out is usually a slow process and when backup is called to help it usually takes a while.

One of my favorite thrift stores and by far my favorite Goodwill in the Twin Cities! Clean, organized, and well staffed. I always find great deals whenever I stop by.

Not just old stuff. Local businesses donate items out of original packaging that are in pristine condition. I got a high end travel mug for half the cost of Target.
