I put down a deposit for a wedding cake and cookies. Before my first tasting, I left her a message that I wanted to discuss which flavors I would try, but she never called me back. On the day of the tasting, I ended up getting whatever she deemed appropriate without any input from me. When I said that I did not like one particular type of cake, she became defensive. At the second tasting, I asked to taste cake fillings, and she said that she would leave them at the bakery for me for me to pick up, but they were not there when I arrived. When I attempted to negotiate what I felt were too-high prices, she again became very curt and defensive with me. She purchased a cake stand without my go-ahead and then tried to stick me with an unreasonable rental fee for it. I asked twice for an itemized cost estimate for my wedding cake, but never received one. Still, I attempted to work with her because I was running out of time. Then, without warning, she bailed on me by refunding my deposit. She did not offer any explanation. Now I am stuck without a baker just eight weeks before my wedding. NIGHTMARE!

Filled our reusable mugs half full. We have standard size mugs. Half and half carafe was super dirty and not sealed up to keep at a safe temp. Counter for doctoring your coffee was nasty. Gas station coffee wouldve been a better choice. After the rad coffee we had (and full mugs of it) in Bozeman, this was a lame way to start our day. Dont bother.

The coffee is great, and it has good ethical options, as well as a great atmosphere. There is a very subtle religious undercurrent, I think, but its more grounded in social justice, I think, than any evangelism. The baked goods are yummy, and they always have honey or sugar in the raw available. I wish they stocked stevia, though!

I enjoy the downtown Fargo and Moorhead locations. Its the Green-R-gizers (spelling?) that I especially love. They are a great fruit, kale, and flax seed smoothie that has become a regular treat along with a slab of Moxies wonderful homemade banana bread. I highly recommend both.

Lovely place great for a break. Interior is cheerfully decorated, outdoor seating is also available. Multiple options for both vegans and gluten-free eaters. Service was fast and knowledgeable regarding offerings.

Moxie Java is my favorite local coffee shop chain in the FM. They have a weekday happy hour special (half off espresso beverages) from 5-7pm, and the Milky Way is their signature drink!

Amy Klobuchar has an office right down the street from this coffee shop, pretty nifty. Oh and the drinks here are good.
