I usually love this location (they are expanding because of how busy they are) and I usually go there to work on my school work or what-have-you and I enjoy the ambience. But I have never had to deal with their customer service skills until today and I have to say that apparently they dont have any. I ordered my usual drink, Ive been getting it for several months and the girl who usually makes my drink was even there. Some girl Ive never seen before (black hair, olive skin, brown eyes- dont know her name) took my order and had to make a snide remark about how I dont like coffee- my drink has extra syrup in it. And my first thought was- thats an upsale- why are you being snooty?! Then I get my drink and it tastes NOTHING like it usually does. I try to add a little ice to make it cold, maybe its a temperature thing. Ultimately I just give it back. Now heres where NO customer service kicked in. They went about to make me another exactly like it, and I told them "Dont make another one. I dont want it." I was obviously distressed, and I went and sat back down. All three women behind the bar huddle and discuss the issue I just presented. (I know theyre speaking about me because of the incessant looks my way, and them looking over the label of the remake in one girls hand) and instead of any of them approaching me, they stay behind the bar. Mind you- the store is not busy there is no rush. I was there for an hour, trying to focus on work through my frustration, and an hour later I come up to them and all three girls keep insisting they can remake it. Even the snide girl gives me a doe eyes look. I say "no, I just want my money back." They do ask me what was wrong with it and the girl who usually makes my drink really wants to know. I appreciate their curiosity of the situation. Then before leaving I am still upset by the girl who made the comment, so I ask her to give me a moment of her time so I can speak to her. She nods and walks away. She does not acknowledge any attempt to speak with me. She stands in the corner by the drive in window and doesnt come speak with me. I was not going to be rude to her. I was going to tell her how her words affected my experience and that she needs to be more mindful of what she says to customers. I say all of this with mind to the fact that I did love that location. Most of the people there are really great and personable, and this is just my experience.

My favorite Starbucks in Texas! I go to this location at least 5 out of 7 days when in town. The baristas are so kind. Always a smile and an interest in how your day is. They take the time to share a bit about their life as well, which is refreshing these days. We could use more personal interaction in an age where texting seems to be the number one way to communicate. The store and outdoor seating is really nice as well. They are often quite busy, which might explain the "slow" reviews. However, I use Starbucks mobile order app if Im in a rush and my drink is always ready when I arrive. Today I have time to spare so I chitchated with the person taking my order and making my drink. Now Im sitting out on their lovely patio enjoying the weather, my drink and my bar. Life is good.

Fairly dirty daily, service is unpredictable, people getting food leave dogs on patio unmonitored, loads of trash outside, parking is a nightmare, middle school kids after school, crowd in and make afternoon miserable for everyone, if you get a bad drink or wrong drink prob looking at some attitude. Everyone here seems stressed even the guest in the morning. Drive through is 10 min in the morning. **There are a few employees who make the place feel warm. Suggestions, Put the oven by the drive up not behind the check out counter. Or, get a large oven. Stop using the tiny ovens which only heat one item at a time. Makes no since. Other suggestions, make to go orders at the to go side and make the in house items near cash register area. Walking back and fourth is so slow.

They always make the drinks right and for some reason they always taste a little better here. I only have 2 small complaints about this Starbucks. 1. the service is always a little bit towards the slow side. 2. the location isnt great from a logistics standpoint. The parking lot is EXTREMELY small and the drive thru is kind of hidden and does not allow for a lot of cars without blocking in a whole lot of people. Other than that the coffee is great!!

Been sitting in the drive through for 20 minutes and no way out. Folks here are really nice and doing what they can but the place is way to busy and they obviously need more hands on deck. Last time I came here a few weeks ago and stood inside for over 20 minutes. Should not have given this another try today. I definitely wont be coming back.

This is a beautiful location but the worst Starbucks in Mckinney; the help is young maybe high school college, they would rather socialize the time away than take care of the place. I have been here because I couldnt go someplace else. They need some mature people working here with a better work ethic.

I come here often, but today Ive been in the same spot on the drive through lane for 20 minutes without moving...and Im stuck or I would have pulled away a long time ago. Frustrating! After all was said and done I ended up being in the drive through for 30 minutes. Something needs to change.

One of the slowest drive thrus of any Starbucks I have been too at all times of the day. Always a long line. No way out of the drive thru line once youre in it too. So expect to wait anywhere from 15-30 minutes for a drink. Drinks are good, as always but the movement is slow inside.

There is a blonde lady that works here that Ive encountered many times, that never seems happy or interested to be working there. It looks like she was dragged there against her will. She throws your drink and food at you and is immediately onto the next person.

Coffee, service, and atmosphere are great, but come expecting to wait. This place is so full of people all of the time that there is simply not enough square footage to accomidate everyone quickly--and consequently, there is rarely any seating, parking, etc.

At the drive-thru speaker, employee was laughing hysterically when she got on to take my order. Slow wait in the line, got the persons order wrong in front of me, and didnt have my food item in stock when I got to the window. This was my first visit here.

Its always like being in an episode of Cheers when youre a regular walking in and everyone is always very helpful and patient to help those that arent quite sure what they want. Of all the Starbucks Ive been to, this one is most like home.

Only 1 car in front of me in the drive through line at 9pm and it took almost 15 minutes to get a coffee! I would have left but I had a car in front of me and a car behind me. The wait here is always long but this was ridiculous!
