First time trying this wonderful coffee shop. The building is full of character. Just a block from the main business area and many shops. Inside there are booths and tables as well as an old fashioned long bar with stools. Several chairs out front if you prefer to sip coffee outside. Great coffee selections...today was Urban Blend...Costa Rican...Dutch Chocolate...and a Decaf option. Iced or hot...flavoured or plain, thry have all the regular options everyone wants. They have a selection of nice looking baked goods too. Prices are average for a hipster feeling coffee shop. Ironically the customers this Saturday were mostly 40+. My iced mocha ws made differently than i have had before...whipped cream mixed with Hersheys Chocolate syrup then a shot of espresso...mixed with ice and topped up with skim milk. I opted for Half and Half cream top up because i needed an extra boost today. Delicious. I would definitely recommend trying Urban Stampede.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quaint little coffee shop on our way from Devils Lake, ND to Kansas City, MO. Based on other reviews from customers, we decided to try the Urban Stampede and absolutely loved it! Right away, we noticed the charm of the jars full of coffee beans, the quiet music, and the fixtures around the room. Since we were going for straight coffee, we skipped over the Specialty menu and headed for fresh brew. I tried the Rice Krispy Treat brew and fell in love. The smell alone would have been wonderful by itself but it was attached to a hearty and full coffee that completed the experience. The barista really took care of us and offered samples of the fresh brews. Our only regret was that we were just passing through and could not sit and enjoy the ambiance. In fact, on our way out of town, we were making plans to go to an NDSU football game and visit this AMAZING little gem in Grand Forks!!

Easily the best place to get a coffee if youre looking for a place with personality. Good atmosphere to hang out and the wifi is more than reliable for solid work. The coffee is good and the lattes are good enough. I recommend getting something sweet as not every barista who works there knows how to poor a good shot/steam microfoam. Im being incredibly critical when I say that, though, so dont let that scare you away. All in all, Urban Stampede is a terrific hang out in Grand Forks and I highly recommend stopping by.

I enjoy the traditional old school wooden aesthetic. Whether its the booths youre sitting in, or the wooden backbone structure holding the baristas machines and coffee canisters up, its all quite pleasant. Also if you ever get a chance, just look up. (Beautiful ceiling tiles that are still a piece of the past)

Great local coffee shop in the downtown area. Good for studying or morning coffee while you read the paper. Offers a good variety of drip coffee daily as well as great espresso drinks. Wonderful place to just sit and people watch or get some work done.

I always go here! Lately it hasnt been like it use to... I ordered a Heath Big Train. It didnt have any flavor whatsoever. There was way too much ice. I have an unflavored mush of ice in a cup with whipped topping. I will not spend anymore money here.

An awesome slice of urban modernity in this small town. Coffee and baked goods were awesome. The local art on display was tasteful and the history of the building was incorporated into the details of the place. The tiny art museum was cool.

If you want good coffee + that eclectic vibe then this is the place. I love the local art showcased on the walls. Theres always an interesting conversation to listen or join, and its close to a lot of downtown shops + free WiFi!

The coffee is good and the atmosphere fine, but, sheesh, they need to have more than one employee during the hours when its busy because with just one person it can take up to half an hour to order and get your beverage!

I ordered a dirty chai frappe....it tasted like a watered down shot of expresso. The service was great, very nice barista and the environment is unique. I dont think Ill be coming back based on the drink alone though.

Mediocre place with uncomfortable tables/chairs and cold food. The coffee isnt that great either. The only thing going for this place is the awesome staff.

Quirky coffee shop. It is no Starbucks which is why it gets a great rating. If you are expecting a coffee chain you will be disappointed.
