there was an invigorating sense of occasion as I clamored to the entrance way, for this was indeed a glorious day! all of my excitement and exhilaration was rushing through my body and leaking out of every pour. This would truly be the experience of a life time. As I walked through the door it felt like everything was in slow motion. It felt as if I were in a dream, only this time the dream was coming true. Everything was heightened and elevated. I was greeted Immediately, I think, Im not sure tho because Im pretty sure that the clerk thought that I was some one he knew and was disheartened to discover that I was not who the thought I was. It did add to the majestic quality of my experience tho. Eventually I was definitely greeted by a guy that I always run into around town. Running in to him was AWESOME! I was so proud to be spotted in the most amazing and bewildering place in Minneapolis. the one and only Office Max. It was great getting to know a little bit about my acquaintance too and the staff made us incredibly comfortable and at ease, It was like they were invisible. Just when I thought that this enchanting and hypnotic place couldnt get any better I saw something that left me spellbound. I had goose bumps as big a dimes at the sight of it. it was absolutely mesmerizing. but I forgot what it was... I would say that it changed me (visiting Office Max) I am certainly a different person, I think its easier to have a broader perspective now. I think its a place where anything is possible and your imagination can come to life. It makes me happy to know that there are places like this, which previously I never thought could exist. It gives me hope that there is something good in all of us that they cant take away something sacred and honorable. I am thank full to have been able to have experience it. They didnt have any diet coke tho

Went to the store for printing services. Waited in line for 20 minutes. There was two staffs working the printing services helping their individual customer. After they were done helping the customer the lady went to the back and looked busy printing order, the one guy finished helping his customer and while I was standing in line he acted busy and was shuffling papers. The lady in the back asked him "help the next person in line" which was me. But he acted busy and didnt hear her, meanwhile she was shuffling papers. I thought to myself "why cant you just help me then." In the meantime, a lady was trying to use the stupid "rent me computer to print" it was giving her issues. So both staff gave her their attention. When I came back to asked the lady for help she replied that I have to rent the computer to print. But it was clear that the customer using it was having issues. It wouldnt print correctly and charging her usuage minutes. I went to ask the guy again to see if he can print an application for me online.. He says no they cant as they dont have internet connection. Wtf what kind of upgraded place that specializes in printing pro dont have internet use. After 35 minutes of wait time, there was no help offered. Meanwhile the customer that is getting charge 35+ $ for 20 minutes of use time was told by the lady " if theres extra charge call customer services " wtf... will not use services again. A bunch of people in the store wearing fancy nice head set and offered no help. they are lucky I wasnt confrontational and just left...

I had really bad service over the phone with Office Max today. I have called 4 times and was unable to talk with anyone about printing some business cards. I have been put on hold 4 successive times without anyone talking to me. The fourth time, I suggested perhaps I leave a number and someone call...Just as I was writing this, a person did talk to me and was helpful. My total wait time had been about 25 minutes over those 4 calls, so that was frustrating, but this review was redeemed somewhat by the eventual service. Googles rating scale seems a little funny to me as I want to give categories a mere 1, though I wouldnt really call it good. Update...when in store, I regularly receive excellent service at affordable rates when getting something printed, even though theyare understaffed and often quite busy. Im bumping it from a 3 to a 4 because of this.

I have lost all respect and understanding for this location. I use to use them all the time with almost no concern. When they remodeled and got new systems and staff. It seems like everything went down the toilet. I went in to have some simple business cards done. Because of the new system, it took them forever to figure things out. I was in there will over an hour. I went to pick up the cards. Im not certain who proof read the cards but they were completely unacceptable. On top of that, the clerk stood there telling me it was my fault because I didnt provide them with the proper info/image for them to do it the correct way. Im glad I didnt pay prior to the order being completed. I will never go back or recommend them.

I shop this location because it is conveniently located, over the past 3 years their customer service is consistently non-existent!!! After asking the manager about an item that is standard product, he gave me a lecture on how to properly describe the item and that I called it by a name that was not familiar to his 20 something clerk, which is the reason why she did not know what I was talking about! Really! Why ask if you can help me before I can clear the front door, if in fact when I do ask for assistance, you make it seem as though I interrupted your life. Be consistent, offer real customer service or stop asking me if you can help me!

Easy location to visit. The quality of service seems better since they remodeled. The rewards program is better than most retail stores, they actually give Gift Cards and discounts storewide. Hit or miss on business card production though. Ive ordered 4 different sets of Bcards and on 2 sets were lined up and satisfactory. I was told I could get a discount on my next set but it never happened and I havent seen the guy who helped me the first 3 purchases. No worries though. I spent $35-$50 for each set too.

This place reminds me of a warehouse. I dont know if thats good or bad. I know that its not the warmest of all places to be. The materials are sometimes hard to find, and its not the most organized. It is however a good place to buy materials I need for anything at home. They are well-stocked of everything so I dont have to worry about them running out of stuff. The people there are delightful and helpful.

I needed a few reams of paper, I went to my local store... bad move. No one greeted me or even acknowledged my presence, eye contact was avoided at all costs, and the clerk treated me like I was a bother for shopping... thanks but no thanks, Ill take my business elsewhere...
