Love the merchandise, rude employee. Went to hobby lobby and when we got ready to check out, the lady had us move to another register, we waited and waited, the 1 customer in front of us was taking some time, which was fine, but after the cashier finished with her the female said you can move over to the other register, that was the one I was at first! When my sister tried to check out she had some picture frames that were marked clearance and the sign stated "50% off marked price" picture frames. The rude woman said "no that is not for clearance. I stated " thats not what the sign said" and believe me I looked!! And so did my husband! She said " well Im sorry. At this time I am still in line were she told me to go in the first place, so I just picked up my purse and said "Im not moving again" I have severe back problems and my sister is disabled, why should we as customers keep being moved when we are already in line so they can count a till? The customers should have been checked out first OR had enough registers open to avoid doing this to customers! I have purchased a lot of stuff from hobby lobby and so has all my family, but now I will have to go to micheals. Pretty sad !

I really love this store - so much to see! However, the merchandising displays often fall apart. The first time I was there I was looking at a wooden sign that was approximately 18" X 45" and there were eight of them on two metal prongs on an end cap. The price was not visible and as soon as I reached for it the entire display came crashing down. Someone came running to help me and reassembled the display, only to have the same thing happen as soon as she put the eighth wooden sign back. They need to figure out more quality ways to display things. It is not only a safety issue, but I would think a lot of the merchandise gets damaged. Every time I am there I hear crashing throughout the store, so I know it was not an isolated incident.

This is the first time Ive purchased anything in this store, and itll be my last. There was ONE register open (and this is Thanksgiving week), NINE people ahead of me in line, all with numerous items in their carts. I was buying a card of buttons and debated whether or not to just leave. Several of us in line were not happy with the long wait, and not a single employee or manager in sight to help out. Finally, after about 10 minutes, the clerk announced for someone to open another register. When I finally got to that clerk, I said "Gee that was quite a wait." She responded "Sorry bout that", and handed me the change without even a "thank you." Michaels and JoAnnes will be getting ALL of my business from now on.

I love Hobby Lobby and are happy they are finally in MN. I try to shop at places I believe in... this corporation is hard for me, so I will review this store not the company... The store is clean, the staff is friendly, the products are amazing and pricing is below Michaels or Joannes. They have the BEST assortment of knobs and handles. The 40% off coupons make everything affordable. By far my favorite craft supply store. Hate the hours... i understand being closed on Sunday, but I forget about it until I pull into the lot. Lol

Wonderful. /ˈwəndərfəl/ adjective inspiring delight, pleasure, or admiration; extremely good; marvelous. Ive been shopping here several times now for my Art Supplies because of great prices for good items, and an open sensible layout. Staff are fun! (and can be professional as needed) and informed. Always a Sale around somewhere at Hobby Lobby. All in all good selection for arts needs, an easy to shop experience, and good prices from good people. Wonderful! (less than 5 starts for long line delay @ check-out line).

I like this store because not only do they have crafts& fabric. They have candles,pictures,furniture for homes and other fun and nice things for your home inside and out. Even for holidays. If you collect items such as trinket boxes, and more. This is the place to go for all of that. Its a cool, fun & nice store. I love it for that reason. They also have birthday & other occasion cards and party favors too. Check it out. Ive been to the newest one in Bloomington on American Blvd. I give it 5 stars.

Staff is always great and Im always able to spot one in an aisle working or something. They are always approachable and helpful. The store always has good sales going on and its always in a laid back type of atmosphere which I enjoy when Im shopping alone. I can spend hours in here if I had time to (which I have.. no shame). Its always organized and clean. Glad to have Hobby Lobby in such a good area! One of my favorite stores (:

Hobby Lobby has got to be the leader in the craft store business. Im a long time Michaels customer and found Hobby Lobby while spending the winter in California. I googled Hobby Lobby locations and found out they have locations in Minnesota. My wife and I have been there twice since weve been back. Furniture, artist supplies, unbelievable craft supplies, picture frames, ect., ect., ect. And all at Great prices. Sorry Michaels.

This is a good location overall, not the best Hobby Lobby Ive ever been to, but it gets the job done. I usually go to the one in Roseville, and that one has a far superior selection of crafts and puzzles. Again, this has a good overall selection, but I feel the Roseville one does a better job at satisfying my needs.

I agree I had a custom frame made at the Maplewood Hobby Lobby (#587), the frame shop had it finished in under third minutes. The frame was 50% off (as always) plus I got to use my employee discount on top of that. Seriously you cant go anywhere else and get that kind of deal!

Had a custom mat made. It was 60% cheaper than Michaels and 90% cheaper then joannes. Also, it was ready in minutes, not weeks. Maria was awsome!! This is by far the best store of its kind around! Its even guy friendly with the car, sporting good and mancave sections!

I love shopping here its much cheaper the Micheals! another nice thing is if you look up on ur phone hobby lobby coupons u can find a coupon for 40% off a regular priced item, which i enjoy especially with expensive stuff

This place is definitely dangerous! I can spend the better part of a day in here. I definitely have to say that the staff is extremely friendly and extremely helpful. Do not be afraid to ask any questions.

This place is huge! Doesnt just have arts and crafts. It has awesome paintings and posters in different themes for a man cave or theater room. I saw some pretty cool stuff here.
