I got my first tattoo at Dragonland in 2014. Dan Dittmer is the Artist who started the work and Im back every year for more! He did a large chest piece for me and now were doing sleeves. Im booked for a pair of Shahns signature Dragons in 2018 to add to the incredible foundation Dan has laid. I have all of my ink done by the fine folks at Electric Dragonland! Dan, Shahn, Steph, Thad, Chuck, Adam, Jen, Kat and Wanda are about the nicest group of folks youll meet. They are dedicated to the art and to the quality work they put out. They are fastidious in the cleanliness of the shop and only use new needles in their machines for every session. Dragonland is a custom shop and is unlikely to have same day services available as their artists are in high demand, but if youre looking for custom, high quality work done by true professionals, you need look no further. The walls are covered in awards because they are among the best in town!

Steph Schill did an AMAZING job revamping a tattoo I got years ago. It went from kinda blah and unfinished-looking to a beautiful piece of art that Im proud to show off. Steph was patient and kind every time we met, and she was honest during the planning process (what I had in mind wouldnt have worked, and she gave a clear explanation of why not instead of just going with it) -- something you need from someone whos putting a permanent mark on you! She has a soft, steady hand and a great eye, which make a perfect combination for a top-notch artist. HIGHLY recommended, and worth the wait for sure. Ill never go to anyone else for any future work!

I got my tattoo at Electric Dragonland today and it was a great experience. It was my first tattoo and I was a little bit risky and I got a larger size. My artist was Steph Schill and she was amazing. She was very thorough with consults before the tattoo so that I had a design a was happy with. She has very high standards on safety and she is an amazing artist. It did hurt to get it and she was willing to work with my pain and give me breaks to deal with it accordingly. It was an amazing experience and I am very happy with the outcome, I would suggest her with high reviews, amazing person to work with, thanks Steph!

I did a lot of research before coming to the Electric Dragonland, especially because I had a bad experience in Minneapolis a few years ago. Throughout my experience at ED with Steph Schill, I was so impressed. I sought service to re-do letters on my leg and add flowers to the site for a memorial tattoo. Steph made this experience and the product beautiful. She has extremely high standards with tools, disposal, and taking lots of time in preparation to make sure the tattoo will be perfect and that customers are comfortable. There is no rush or pressure, just kindness, professionalism, and passion for the job.

Absolutely best place Ive been. I went to several places looking for someone to help me design a back piece that I had in my mind. Nobody was any help at all until I found Thad at ED. He was very willing to work with me on my ideas and drew up a lot of samples until we found the right concept. He has been super patient with me and the design of my tattoo. It probably took a year to finalize the design and Im about half way done with the ink now and couldnt be happier. He does the best work Ive seen and and the most patient, level headed tattooist Ive met.

Ive been going to EDL since 1999 (lil perspective: turned 18 in 98) and of the 5 pieces I have, 4 of them are theirs. Its a bit of a waiting list, but completely worth it as the ink youll get for your patience is truly art. Honestly, I dont think Ill go anywhere else! A friend had a beautiful piece done by Thad in 2010 and my hubby got a really sweet tat by Damien last Sept. If all goes well, Ill be getting yet another from the EDL folks in a week or so. Five stars, all the way! :D

The B E S T day ever! First, everyone was simply fantastic from how the process works (appointment to discuss tattoo, artwork review and tattoo day). My Artist/Technician was the wonderful Stephanie. Every portion of my tattoo was memorable. I felt comfortable and at ease (Im in my 40s) which was appreciated. If you are considering a tattoo I would tell you research no further, make an appointment and get it done here.

Beautiful, comfortable, and respectful place to get your first or 30th tattoo. They dont judge! Super knowledgeable, creative, supportive and friendly staff. I strayed ONCE to another Twin Cities tattoo parlor (to remain unnamed) and will never, ever visit another tattoo shop for my bod. Ill only trust this place and sing its praises from the mountaintop. Electric Dragonland is TOP NOTCH. You guys are the best!

Clean, inviting, down to earth artists that are professional and well versed. However, If you are looking for shotty work or people that dont care about what they do keep looking else where. You get what you pay for, with 70+ years of experience between everyone you will leave satisfied. Adam worked on me and it was a different experience from other places. Very good vibes.

Very impressed with this place!! Called prior to coming in to do a walk-in tattoo, was in and out in about a half hour. Everyone there was super friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I had Adam and he did an awesome job in addition to being a super friendly and down-to-earth guy!! Will be back here for my next one. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

I have gotten two tattoos from Electric Dragonland and wow they are the best out there. The staff are fun and full of life, but also professional. The artwork is just amazing and they really listen to what I wanted. I wont go anywhere else for my tattoos. The tattoos heal real well and for full of life. I would recommend Electric Dragonland to anyone.

Ive received two tattoes from ED. My first from Dan Dittmer which was a back piece. The second was by Shahn Anderson which was a coverup with a tiger head. Both of them are amazing!!! I will only get my ink done here! There is a wait for either of them, but it is well worth it in the end. If you want any tattoes done, definately consider ED.

This place was great and Chuck was really easy and fun to work with. I got my first tattoo there and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I felt welcomed and had a great time leading up to and getting the tattoo. I will recommend this shop to anyone that is looking to get a tattoo done in the future.
