Evolution Tattoo is the best custom shop in the Twin Cities area. All of the artists are on a higher level than the artist you have now. I got a one of a kind blue Jesus piece from Felipe that was sketched within a few hours and then he sent it to me via text message. Since he is amazing, the sketch required no modification and I chose to make an appt. Luckily I got in the same night for a 3hr session. The price was reasonable for the area, but exceptional when considering the talent level. I saw some other people getting custom work while I was in, which was all crazy good. I know there are a ton of tattoo shops in the area, but Evolution is worth checking out before committing elsewhere.

I called in today about a consolation and I had the rudest and disrespectful phone call with a receptionist by the name of "Shantay" I was so shocked at how unprofessional the way she was talking to me, I am also a receptionist and at my work if I talked to a paying customer like that I would be let go easily. The conversation ended with me cancelling my consolation because of how disrespectful she was talking to me. I even confronted her on the phone about it and continued to be disrespectful, Ive only heard great things about evolution tattoo and because of that phone call I can honestly say I will never be bring my business there!

Amazing. I asked Reime to design my half-sleeve tattoo (stained glass with a fleur-de-lis) and she nailed it on the first drawing. Its so pretty, and complements my other half-sleeve perfectly. This is my fourth tattoo, and Reime is my favorite artist so far; Shes fast and precise, yet relaxed and easy to talk to. So looking forward to having her finish it next week... The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The building itself is secluded, right next to a pretty little lake, and the interior is very clean and well-designed. This place is a gem in suburban Bloomington.

Joe is fantastic. He did a large back piece for me which came out beautiful and is the envy of everyone I show it to. Hes also fantastic about treating his clients really well - you feel extremely comfortable and he is very sensitive to your needs. He wont give you any crap if you need to take breaks; conversely if you are gung-ho and are up for a marathon, hes a workhorse. I also have to point out that this guy has a real talent for shading and details, which can be kind of difficult to find in a tattoer. Super clean and well run shop. Good stuff.

Good quality script tattoo...except that they spelled a word wrong. Brought in what I wanted spelled out on a sign but somewhere in the copy process to the tattoo print, a word was misspelled? Was able to get it covered up pretty good after re-tattooing the incorrect letter deep w/o ink, so it would scab up, to pull the scabs off in order to fade the incorrect letter, and finally re-tattooing it again with the correct letter. $0 money back offered, but they were willing to help out with fixing it was a plus. Probably wont be back...

Jeremy C. was great. I walked in without an appointment and he drew up exactly what I wanted. The tattoo was quite uncomfortable to get, but he was very understanding and nice throughout the process. ALL of the guys up front were so friendly, which is not something you usually get in tattoo shops!! I would HIGHLY recommend this tattoo shop to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be back. Thank you guys for a great tattoo AND a great experience.

I have gotten many many Tattoos. At lots of different Tattoo shops. But, At Evolution Tattoo in Bloomington. Its Different their friendly atmosphere combined with their AWESOME artists and sanitary conditions. Make me feel right at home!!! I would highly recommend Evolution Tattoo for first timers or seasoned vets. Like myself!! Go check it out .... And I bet you will have new Tattoo home too!!! Thanks Again for the AWESOME ink.....

This shop is home to some of the most talented, wonderful, caring and kind artists I have personally ever met. Every time I go I feel at home, the atmosphere is wonderful and the artistic talent that flows through that shop is mind blowing. Ive had two pieces done, both by Joe, and have loved them every day since I got them. I get nothing but compliments on both. I will most definitely be back, many times!!

Cleanest shop ever. Most friendly artists and staff. My tattoo from Joe was amazing. He was very caring and patient with me as a was getting my first big rib piece. Im always complimented every chance I get to show that off. Im going in again very soon. I recommend this shop to all my friends and clients. They have always gone the extra mile for a more creative piece.

Alex exceeded my expectations. It was my first time getting ink so I was slightly nervous but she was gentle. Also very clean. I gave her some design inspirations and the results looked better than the originals. We did five small to medium tattoos in three hours. I am extremely satisfied! 10/10. Will return.

DO NOT GO HERE. my tattoo looks horrible. i took care of it exactly like they told me to. my tattoo is blown out. they were extremely rude when i went back to ask if we could do anything to fix it. avoid at all costs.
