Professional, Friendly, Clean, and Great Artwork! I got two AMAZING tattoos by Jennifer this past week and already I cant wait to come back to have more work done! They made me comfortable answered my many questions and gave me advice on the design I wanted to ensure that it turned out the best it could. There are individual rooms for PRIVACY which is different than other shops I have been in. They ask you to come in about 6 weeks after to make sure everything looks good and they offer FREE TOUCH UPs once your tattoo has healed (another perk that no other shop has offered me in the past) The tattoos themselves turned out exactly as I wanted them to and on my cover up tattoo, even I cannot tell where the old ink is under the new design!!! All the artists there are very friendly & seem to know their stuff! This is my new go-to shop for both tattoos and piercings. Ive gotten a ton of compliments on my 2 new pieces that Jennifer did I HIGHLY recommend her or any of the artists @ Tough Luck to anyone looking for a GREAT LOCAL SHOP with EXPERIENCED ARTISTS that is AFFORDABLE & doesnt cost a fortune like some big name shops. I know Ill be telling anyone looking for new ink or piercings to come here! ***Pictures below are right after I was inked so it isnt all healed up and final touch ups havent been made yet but they look amazing and are almost done scabbing so the color on the cover up piece isnt as dark anymore

At first I didnt feel very welcome. I got a mean mug when I walked in . I was told there was gonna be a 20 minute wait & waited about an hour for cheek piercings & wasnt given any paperwork to fill out until my friend asked. After waiting, A nice piercer apprentice took my friends & I too the back room to line up my piercings which took about 15 minutes. The placement looked nice. My piecer/tattoo artist stopped in the middle of her tattoo to help me, (store owner as well btw) She was friendly. But messed up the first piercing. She had to pierce it twice because she realized it was a little off. & My second one she was having trouble screwing the balls on the ends and tugging kinda hard. My right side is a tad bit higher than my left side. And the dots didnt look that way before the piercings. I felt she didnt have much experience with piercings & that I should have gotten some type of discount but was still charged full price. I wouldnt recommend this place for a piercings.

I got my first tattoo done by Steve Scott. He did an outstanding job on them. The shop was very comforting and welcoming. Steve explained everything he was doing durning the tattooing process so I knew what was going to happen next. Steve made sure that the tattoo that he was doing was exactly what I want and was very patient and helpful with helping me pck out that best design and placing of my tattoo. Another thing was the shop was really clean and steral, so I felt safe getting my tattoo. I would definetly recommend going to tough luck to get a tattoo. Thanks again Steve you did an amazing job!

I get all my tattoos now-a-days done by Steve Scott. The pitbull puppy (the main pic on here) is one of the many ones he did, about 5 months ago. I love this tattoo and it looks JUST like my baby. LOL I also have a horse and a RIP writing done by Steve. He does an awesome job, very clean/ sanitary and he knows ill be back for a few more in the next few weeks. Ive recommended a few people here and I will keep telling people where I get my tattoos done. Great and easy location. Very clean and everyone there is super cool!!

First of all, I hope nobody listens to the A-hole below my review. Sounds to me like a Wingnut employee or friend of. Aside from that, I received my first tattoo which covers most of my left upper arm. I am very pleased with the quality, look, and experience. The owner (Steve) did the artwork and tattoo. All the staff was friendly, easy to talk to and things went well. I am 100% satisfied and plan on returning to add in the future.

I got my first tattoo here & I have been here with a friend when she got pierced and we LOVED it. Its so clean and the people are so nice and friendly, they made us feel right at home! The only thing was that it is kind of high priced. I would recommend it thought because the people and quality of the work make up for the higher prices! I will definately be going back there to get my next tattoo!

Ive been trying to get a zombie Tattoo finished for three years!!! Been calling back and trying to set up appointments for the whole time and NEVER gave me a call back and the tattoo was poorly done! Only had the outline done but I went to ace tattoo over in golden valley and he can cover it and make it look ten times better smh go to ACE TATTOO they do piercings too. This place sucks so hard

i get asked about my ink everyday at work and i always let em know i got it done through tough luck tattoo Steve and Ryan are both great guys ive had 6 of my pieces done there and consider it my home shop. They do great work and make you feel right at home and watching movies while you get tatted never was a bad thing either. the shop is clean and the prices are affordable overall 5 stars

Think that this shop went through a management change. Arthur did my tattoo. He seems very green and nervous. Jennifer, who I think is the new owner, came in and touched it up his work. Jennifer than did my husbands tattoo. She was quick, accurate and did a great job. I wish that they both would have talked more, but all and all it was a good experience.

I had gone in to the tattoo shop right after it opened. It was extremely clean. Steve the owner is very talented and helpful. Steve is in the process of doing a cover-up which is turning in the best sleeve I have ever seen. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a tattoo go to Tough luck tattoo in Crystal. Its very easy to find

Ive had lots of ink done, but Steve is the absolute best! A true professional, clean shop, friendly staff and an awesome artist, the guy takes time to make sure what you want will look right and offers his expertise in helping you decide before he fires up the the gun. This is my shop now. 5 stars all the way.

I had my tattoo done about a month ago, and still everyday I love it a little more. All the other reviews describe the awesomeness of this place pretty well. All I have to add is that they arent lieing. Though Luck Tattoo is the place to go. Thanks Steve! I cant wait to come back for my next peice.

Fantastic shop! Not only unbelievably clean but also a warm friendly environment! Steve takes his time with his art and thats what matters, he doesnt do a quick outline then a botch job of shading! He goes in and details insanely well even if it takes a while. The awesome movies help a bunch too!
