If you want any sort of customer service, go elsewhere.....We looked at a nice used vehicle here at Grand Rapids GM, made an appointment to drive 40 min away to see it. I work in customer service and was friendly with them, we drove the car and liked it, and I even smoothed over the fact that I had to stop and fill a flat tire on the test drive that they didnt catch. The front suspension clunked horribly as they did not bother to address that, but we were still interested as-is. We made a fair cash offer, and Leigh Lonson, the sales manager, was nothing but condescending to us and and told us we were a waste of his time, and told us we should go to another dealership if we want a better deal. The next day, after they graciously let us take the car home overnight to check over, I called back to see if we could put together a deal. Our salesman was pretty much uninterested to help us from the beginning of the conversation, though I had cash in hand and wanted the vehicle. They made no attempt to look the car over, find out what was wrong or anything, even after nicely asking. Couldnt believe how rude and uninterested they were in selling me a car.

I brought in a car with a leaking radiator.I explained that I brought it to a GM dealer because of prior electrical problems when disconnecting the battery.The vehicles security system sets the horn off when battery is reconnected and this is why I brought it here.The radiator is replaced and some recall work was completed and then the problems start when battery is reconnected.They call me and state that the car wont start up and it needs a body control module.So I approve the BCM and receive a call that its now complete and ready.I pay for repair and go out to start up the car and the low coolant light is on and the door locks and trunk opener dont work.They did get these 2 options working again but I never received a call about the bad coolant sensor and now Im driving around with the light glaring at me.

My wife and I recently purchased a truck and SUV from Grand Rapids GM and had the BEST experience we could have hoped for when spending our hard earned cash on a couple newer vehicles. We worked through the entire process with Chris Berglund and he made the always stressful process of finding our new rides painless and FAST. We did some custom work to my truck as well and Chris was great at helping me work through getting everything I wanted, offered a ton of expert advice and helped with arranging everything so I could continue to focus on the job I still had to do on a daily basis. Next time I need a ride, I WILL be talking to him and Rapids GM again, these guys deserve every star there is to offer. Chris Berglund and Rapids GM is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED from our family!

Great experience buying a car from Nate This past fall. Then today my power steering went out and I called Nates cell phone (thinking they were still open) to see if I could bring my car there to be looked at. They were closed and he was home, but he immediately asked what was wrong and offered me a car. He met me there and got me a car to use until they could look at it on Monday. We have worked with other staff in the past and they have been great as well. Great owner. Great staff. Great place to buy a vehicle! They make the process of buying a car easy and fun instead of annoying and stressful.

I love the car that I bought from Grand Rapids GM, but trying to get ahold of someone seems impossible. For example, I have a few questions about financing but I cant get ahold of the financial person for the life of me. Ive left messages and have tried calling at different times but no luck. If you want to drive their cars, make sure you check the gas tank because every car I tried to drive didnt have gas in it. And if it did, i could only drive a block before the gas tank symbol came on.

I had a great experience working with Chris at Grand Rapids GM. He really listened to what I wanted and was patient with me throughout the whole process. My car needed new tires and Chris took care of getting them to the dealership and onto the car before I picked it up so I didnt have to worry about it. So glad I went somewhere where the staff were willing to go out of their way to help make such an important decision easy!

Sales were great and I had no problem buying my car , but when it came time for warranty repairs the service department was horrible . Ive had my car in there 5 times and it still isnt fixed and when I called the shop regarding my car I overheard one of the employees saying he didnt give an f what I wanted . Apparently spending $20000 for a car doesnt matter to them , but I will never purchase a vehicle from them again .
