Ive been to this location many times, but Wednesday August 5th will be the last time ever. I came in for groceries, a phone card, and some light bulbs for my car. Altogether it was over $130 worth of stuff. Satisfied with my selections, I walked up to the front to check out at about 11PM, and there were literally zero lines open except for the self-checkout, which itself had a decent line to wait for a scanner. YOU DONT MAKE A CUSTOMER SCAN $130 WORTH OF GROCERIES BY THEMSELVES! I briefly considered abandoning my cart and just going to Cub, but that would be kind of jerky, so I decided to press on. The scale only hiccuped a few times, and I figured out that I could just touch "I dont want to bag this item" and it would let me keep going. I finished scanning and bagging (and scanning and bagging and--that phone card sure took a lot of tries--I hope it works), and paid with my debit card. It said declined, but I knew that shouldnt be, so I tried again, and it worked. I made it through, but I will never come back again. You guys dont want to pay $10 for a cashier, so you make me do their job? Jokes on you guys though! I was looking over my receipt, and it turns out I forgot (yes, I honestly forget) to scan two of my items. And Im still too irritated to care. I already decided Ill never be back, so youll never get your $7.88. You guys being cheapskates caused me to accidentally steal, and I actually feel a sense of justice, not wrongdoing. Im never coming in again, because you made me do your job, and I dont want to do your job. I do my job, then I go shopping, and you guys do your jobs. At least, thats how its supposed to work.

It has not failed once that I went to this store to shop and they are out of at least 3 items I needed, their shelves are never full and it is so frustrating to have to get off work and want to do all my shopping at once to find out that I would to return to the store 2-3 times a week in order to get all I need...... today I started my meat early and once it was close to being done I went to the store to get cabbage ( corn beef & cabbage) to find out their was not any, although I appreciated that they look in both their produce freezers for me, yet there was none there... I wanted to cry, this has happened more time then I could count, this is why I write this review and give on star.... I have never been at any other walmart that is constantly out... This is the honest to God truth, three weeks ago it was the the chicken wings the ones I had to wait two weeks to get and even then I want two family packs, but was able to be there to get the last one they said they had none left. Some items you cant by till the day or days of time to use..... this was one of them times and now I have to choose a whole other meal to prepare well after dinner time for my family.

Im at Walmart now in Fridley at the money center and I just heard this lady tell another lady that they released 2-3 employees from the money center. So now theres 1 person doing a transaction that is taking multiple people and NOW they just put another lady on another register to help with the long freaking line. Ive been standing in this line for about 15 minutes and still counting. Maybe they should have kept the people on the registers instead of letting them leave. Right now theres 11 people standing in line still waiting to be helped. I went to another walmart in Roseville 2 weeks ago to get a money order in the afternoon and the money center was shut down. All because no one wanted to work the money center. Management should have said too bad, youre working it. But I guess they have no leadership skills just like the Fridley location. Im very disgusted with Walmart right now. Oh and another thing, the automatic machine that is suppose to help with money orders and what not... NEVER works for money orders but works for other things.

The people that work here are mostly nice and helpful and my son likes the samples they usually have on Saturdays, but this Walmart is awful at stocking. Weve lived in this area for a year now, and they are consistently out of things throughout the store and dont get restocked on some items for weeks and weeks at a time. A few examples are: JIF crunchy peanut butter - so far hasnt been in the store for 3 week; garlic power - last fall it was over 2 months before they had anything besides garlic salt, so I ended up going to Cub twice; the new Fiber One Lemon bars - they had them 1 week, then out for 3, then again for 2 weeks, and so far theyve been gone for another 2 weeks even though Target and Cub have consistently had them stocked; and size medium Fruit of the Loom womens bikini underwear out for 4 weeks. I go grocery shopping every Saturday, and I feel like every time there is something were looking for that is consistently out of stock always more than 1 week in a row.

Bad experience with employee at money center. I wasnt sure if they could cash the type of checl i had. So I handed to them (the cashier and her supervisor). without endorsing it. I told them i would if they accepted that kind of check. They asked for my id and had me enter my SSN. They told me it was denied. I was a little annoyed (i had been in line for almost 30 min). Not with the employee though- they were just doing there job. As i was about to leave the supervisor said "thats why she didnt want to endorse or." She said it loud enough for everyone to hear. The two employees than started to luagh. It took me a second to realize they had probably run a credit check. And the system rejected me. A couple of hours after i left i called to speak to manager. I would have give the store a one if it werent for Don ( the lead on duty). She listened to my complaint and was nothing but polite, friendly and sincere. All three stars are for her .

I look around and all I see are people with obvious disabilities. A lot of different people from different countries. Many of them can hardly speak English. I encourage the fair act of hiring or whatever but this specific walmart was a little over board. The russian cashier didnt know how to use it and I ended up standing there watching this guy try to figure it out while the manager was a few feet away talking with her friends and not giving a crap. Ended up going to another lane because one of the cashiers actually noticed my obvious need to get out of there. Then I went to subway, the guys there also had some obvious disabilities, but they kept the convo going and made the wait better. So I gave a star for the subway inside only. I went there for shampoo and some snacks and it took me over 20 minutes to get in and out. when it should have been 10 minutes max
