I needed a new desktop for home. The tech. dept. at Office Depot at Fairview Ave., Roseville where I have been getting technical services over the past 4 years, I ran into store staffs trying charge redundant fees and unnecessary services. I decided to contact this store at County Road C. Terencio, a Senior Technology Specialist, answered my call and went over my criteria clearly and affirmatively. For a desktop priced at $550 plus a Premium Setup & Protection, McAfee and New Office 2016 Suite, I ended up saving $150. In addition, the followup Terencio provided me has been wonderful, above and beyond my expectation. One suggestion to the potential customers who needs technical support at Office Depot: You need to check if the staff is a technician specializing computer and electronic devices, or is a sales person trying to ring the cash register as much as possible to the unsuspecting customers. This incident taught me that the convenience of a short travel distance (less than 2 miles) is not worth to be a main reason going to the same store, even if you are familiar with the store managers. An extra 3 miles turned out to be a blessing. Thank you, Terencio, keep up with your excellent service!

Incompetent staff and horrible customer service. I went in to buy an office chair, because the box that the chair comes in was too big to fit in my car I had to have the chair delivered. The delivery took a few days and when it arrived it was the incorrect model. When I called the store to inform them and see what they would do to help me the store manager said going through the delivery service again would take a long time to deal with so he would just deliver the correct chair himself... a week later. Well the guy never showed up, so again I call the store and a different store manager tells me that the other store manager lost my phone number and was unable to call me to tell me that the correct chair model was sold out now and they couldnt replace my chair. So now I have to wait another week for the delivery guys to come pick up the wrong chair and I wont get a refund until they pick it up. This would have been the 3rd or 4th chair I wouldve bought from office depot, but after this experience I will never give them my business again.

Just a comment on customer service - the local store tried 4 times to get our order shipped to us, and all that happened was that our bank account got locked up because the returns werent going through. They promised USPS delivery but used some fly-by-night company that couldnt be contacted when the order didnt arrive (charge #1), then, after the re-order was paid for the item was out of stock (charge #2) and had to be refunded rather than the charge canceled. The third try found the item but would take another 5 days to get here (a full WEEK after the original order was due), charge AGAIN against the account but canceled (3d time) because of damage. The FOURTH attempt caused the account to be locked by the bank. The reps attitude? Deal with it, we wont do anything for you. Now, my account is locked until Monday, so I cant even get a Fathers day dinner this weekend. Not to mention that everything was moved to make room for a new desk that, at BEST, will be here a week late. Wonderful customer service.

I work for a local law firm, and we use this Office Depot regularly. They are always accommodating for my special requests, like needing a million stamps every time I go there, and whenever I ask for help, theyre eager to assist, even when I dont know exactly what I need. I especially appreciate their responsible recycling services. We get generous in-store coupons as Rewards Members for recycling our printer cartridges, and they have a very affordable office equipment recycling program that we will use to dispose of our old phones. $5-15 per large box. For bunch of phones and related equipment, we probably wont pay more than about $50 to keep all that plastic and other harmful byproducts out of a landfill. Im very grateful for these services.

I had them print and cut my wedding invitations which was a huge mistake. There were supposed to be 2 printed to a page and then Office Depot just needed to cut the paper in half (which I thought would be easy enough). I was wrong-- the cutting was just horrible. There were huge sections on the invitations where you could see the chunk of text from the other invitation. I definitely would NOT recommend them. For the price, youd think theyd do a great job, but that couldnt be further from the truth. You spend a lot of money for terrible service.

Had a great experience buying an office chair here. My wife picked out the one she wanted from their website, and I called about 30 minutes before closing, on my way home from work one day. They said they had several in stock and brought one to the front so it would be ready when I came in. When I showed her that it was $20 cheaper online than in the store, she immediately matched the online price. Granted, I was the only one in the store at that time, but they went out of their way to make me feel like a valued customer.

My boyfriend and I had gone to staples 3-4 days before Christmas to see if we could get some printing done, and they told us two weeks for 8 copies of a 5 page document...we came here and they were incredibly helpful with advice about paper and printed it right away.

Employees have been helpful and pleasant to deal with in finding items in the store. Generally everything has been in stock. The store is conveniently located to similar stores - Target and Best Buy. One of the places will have the office item Im looking for.

Normal office Depot. Its pretty dead here and I had to wait minutes at the checkout before anyone saw me. Otherwise, they have the office supplies if thats what you need. This is one of the few place that I can find one for my older printer
