NEVER AGAIN! PUCHASED LUMBER ON A TUESDAY TO HAVE IT DELIVERED ON THURSDAY. DONT GET A CALL TIL THURSDAY AFTERNOON SAYING THAT IT WILL HAVE TO BE THE NEXT DAY IN ORDER FOR THEM TO DELIVER. (FINE, I JUST SENT THE GUYS HOME. THEN COME FRIDAY MID MORNING I STILL HAVE NO WORD FROM THEM SO I TRY CALLING. NO ONE IS ANSWERING THE PHONE. SO I HAVE TO DRIVE OUT THERE. I SOON FIND OUT NON OF MY WOOD IS CUT YET NOR HAS THERE BEEN ANY ARRANGEMENTS TO HAVE ANYTHING DELIVERED. SO I STOOD THERE UNTIL I CAN HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER MY WORKERS TO DO. THEY SENT PARTIAL DELIVERY THAT AFTERNOON FOR WHAT WAS CUT. AND WAS TOLD THE REMAINING WOULD BE SENT THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. NOTHING ARRIVED MONDAY SO I CALL AGAIN. AND AGAIN NOTHING WAS CUT AND NOW MY GUYS AGAIN HAVE NOTHING TO DO.

My wife and I purchased a water softener from Home Depot, and paid for installation. Home Depot hired 3rd party installers for the work. The 3rd party installers did a poor job, cutting a few corners. At one point, our plumbing sprung a leak, and required an emergency fix. Home Depot worked with us until everything was right. In the end, they paid more to fix the errors than we paid for installation, and then some. They never wavered from their initial commitment to make sure the water softener was installed properly. I never once felt like I was burdening them or causing problems. They were on my side the entire time. Well certainly be going back!

Very disappointing return experience here. I bought a Ryobi drill and battery set, in which BOTH batteries went bad. I brought them in along with the charger and this was confirmed by an employee. However, they would NOT allow me to return these batteries for replacements without everything that came in the set (the batteries, drill, charger and carrying case). I have received much better customer service at Menards. I would recommend going there as they stand by their products and dont make you jump through hoops to return defective merchandise.

Treat your customers like they dont care about them and they will just go somewhere else. I have ulcerative Colitis, this place doesnt seem to care that some people have medical issues. They close their bathrooms during business hours...really?! You cant clean your store when your closed. Maybe you should just lock the doors to the store during business hours so people dont bother you, that makes logical sense right. Read up on bathroom laws in mn, we have strict laws when it comes to bathroom access.

NEVER again will I pay for these people to install ANYTHING. You have to pay for installation up front - then just TRY and get the job done in a timely manner - wont happen. Once you pay them you are at their mercy. UPDATE: going on week # 2 since I bought a toilet and install...toilet still sitting in a box in the hall way, installers cant come till 1/2/15 - NEVER SHOP AT HOME DEPOT and dont bother calling them because when I did I was told "tough" <<< FI

My review is at least a month or two old, but Javier (I think that is his name) was exceptionally helpful to my boyfriend and I while perusing the deck staining department. He was not only knowledgeable and pleasant, but he came up with the ingenious idea of doing Deck Over on the top surfaces and using a sprayer for the spindles. Just wanted to give some props. Thanks man, our deck looks fab! JO

I am like a kid in a candy bar store when at any Home Depot. Often, I bring my dog and walk the isles just looking at the many items I could buy. Its a very friendly place and the free coffee is an additional perk. Almost all my remodeling materials are from Home Depot since they combine quality with fair prices. MA

I have had mixed experiences with stock and with their service. I would say they are "typical" of the HD store. I was surprised to see the large selection of hardware (even though there is a hardware store about a mile away) and their outdoor/garden area offers some good deals in spring. ER

Good selection of products at good prices. The best thing about the HD is the hours open though - cant say how many times thats saved my but to be able to grab a part for a project early on a Sunday or late on any day. CH

I bought a stove from the Home Depot. It was faulty and the manufacturer was not helping. Tyler the assistant manager fix the problem in about 15 minutes this is why I shop there customer for life. Thanks Tyler SA
