Carhop in Crystal, MN has the worst customer service I have ever seen. First time I went, I had an appointment and after being there about an hour and a half and doing all the paper work, Nicole came back and told me they are getting "resistance from financing" and kept going to help other people while I waited. Finally, told me there was nothing they can do unless I had a cosigner who would need to be someone living with me, or "get more hours at work". I left and almost every day for a week I was getting called from different associates telling me to come in and promising they could get me a car. I spoke to Pat over the phone, who assured me as long as I put 400 dollars down I would get a car that day and thats all I needed. Yesterday, John called me and left a message saying they would "love to get me driving today and to stop by today", so I called back, spoke with a different representative and made an appt. When I arrived, I was assisted with someone who never gave out his name the whole time. He was white, had glasses and a man-bun. I spent 2 hours there,for him to tell me someone had contacted me about bringing all my paystubs with, which NEVER happened. No one told me that. I was able to print out my bank statements and he kept saying they would need either my first paystub (I dont have) or my next one (that I have not worker for yet). I clearly show I make enough to keep up with their payments and if I couldnt it would get reposessed anyway. So, I spent more money on cab rides there and wasted more hours there, for him to continually leave for an average of 30-40 mins at a time, helping other people, sitting in the back and talking to coworkers. When he said there was nothing they could do,I explained how I had been told by other sales people all I needed was 400 down and I could drive home. He was extrememly rude and uncaring, half heartidly told me "sorry for the misinformation. I dont know who even told you to come in. Good luck elsewhere" I am extremely disappointed in the service I was given and lies I was told by associates. Do not recommened to anyone!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! 3 days after I purchased my truck the service engine light came on and has been on ever since! If you can afford car payments go some place else! Even if u have bad credit any dealer ship will be willing to work with u if u have a job. Dont let them lie about helping u rebuild ur credit. They are only interested in making money! I know people with the same credit issues I have that were able to get a brand new car for a lot less than what I pay UAC! The warranty they give u is a rip off too! It doesnt cover anything and if it is covered u have to take it to one of their shotty mechanics to poorly fix and break down again in less than 3 months! I actually had one if their mechanics tell me that my car was not a priority to be fixed because they were being paid through CarHops warranty, he also said that my car would only be worked on in between waiting on parts for the cars of their customers paying out of pocket. He aldo thought it was pretty funny to tell me that if I was paying out of pocket he could have my car fixed in a day; but since it was under CarHops warranty it would be over a week before it would be ready! Everyone told me not to come here and I should have listened!!!

****BEWARE OF WHAT CAR HOP IS DOING TO PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY ETHNOCENTRIC PEOPLE WITH POOR CREDIT**** The sales person, John tried to sell me a 2002 Ford Taraus with a dirty headlight for $8,000. Then, Jill the manager, came out and tried to tell me this is what you get in my situation. She tried to tell me if I bought a car from a private owner, that I could end up in the same predicament. And, that this way I build my credit. Then, John tried to sell me a 2005 Chevy Impala for $8,888. The Impala didnt start immediately, you had to wiggle the key. Then, John started it and I took it for a test drive. It shook after 55 mph. The low tire pressure Gage was on, the CD deck was broken, and when I stopped the car at another dealership to fill out an application and tried to restart the car, it took over 5 seconds to start. ****BEWARE OF WHAT CAR HOP IS DOING TO PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY ETHNOCENTRIC PEOPLE WITH POOR CREDIT****

Let me start by saying no situation is the same. I bought a car from Car Hop in Crystal Mn, and I took it in to get its 2nd oil change, the place told me I need a new car because the under body was to rusted out to put up on the lifts to change the oil and they are not able to change it, and its not safe to be on the roads. I took it back to car hop and they had one of their machanic places look at it. They confirmed that I needed a new car. Car Hop got me out of that car and put me in a different car right away. I have been very pleased with there services. So despite all the bad reviews I have had and I am still getting great service from them.

About a year ago i decided to do business with car hop and aside from being able to help people with little to no credit be approved for cars this whole ordeal has been nothing but a costly headache over the last year ive had over two different repairs totaling over $1000 each and the first one happened less than two months after having the car at which time I called and was informed that it wasnt covered under the warranty, but just recently during a routine oil change i was notified of another issue that has left me unable to drive a car that im currently paying for all in all this hasnt been a very good experience with this car.

I had a very great experience at car hop !! I dont have very good credit , but Nicole worked very hard to help me find a car that fit my needs & that was affordable for me , I do however wish there would have been more options for me to choose from . . but of course thats only because of my qualifications . . I did walk away , or let me correct myself , drive away with something that made me proud ! It fits me perfectly & is in such great condition I have already referred some family members as well as friends ! Today is only day 1 but I am confident that I will have many more happy days !

I had the worst experience here. I bought a 2002 ford focus. I drove it for maybe a day and it started having problems. I payed right around 10,000 all together for the peicer. First the brakes went out and it needed new roaters. I thought okay it was an older car and they probably have never been changed before but it was one thing after another. I will NEVER EVER buy a car from you guys again. Nor will I EVER recommend anyone to you guys. And the warranty dosent cover anything. I feel like I got cheated very bad. Like I said dont buy a car from here.
