This past weekend I went in looking for mouse traps. I set out to get the supplies to also make my own bucket mouse trap. The first person I asked for assistance was a gentleman named Terry. He sent me to the traps and later I met up with him again to look for the supplies I needed. As I was talking to him a guy came up and was asking me about what I was doing. He claimed to be a hunter guidesman or something like that. He presented himself as an expert regarding wild animal and mice as well. At first I was happy to get some advice on the situation. Terry politely stepped aside as I was talking to this guy. It didnt take long however for this "guy" to seem a little off with what he was saying. He started to tell me wild obsurd things that contradicted what I believed, he was getting too close to me and I had my 3 children who were all getting upset and tired of being there. He started to behave and say things that were inappropriate and made me extremely uncomfortable. Being that I was still in the middle of trying to get specific items and needed to be in that isle, and my kids were needing me I was getting super overwhelmed but I felt trapped, this guy wouldnt go away and I couldnt just pick up and leave with my 3 kids. When he finally walked away Terry promptly came over and asked how I was doing and what else I needed. I began to tell him and I started to get really upset over the interaction with that guy. I was crying and upset and Terry was super helpful and comforting. 3 other female employees also were all trying to help me get the things I needed and Terry and 1 other were comforting me. Terry stayed with me nearly the entire rest of my time there even walking me to checkout as I was overwhelmed and distressed. He managed to arrange for my items to be complimentary and they helped me get out of there with what I needed. I was so thankful that I wasnt just stranded alone crying in the store trying to figure out how to pay for my items while my 3 little kids were freaking out. I felt safe because he stayed with me and I saw the guy leave before I went to the checkout. I really appreciate the care that was given to me during a very stressful experience.

Bought a snow blower and paid over $1,000 and paid to have it delivered. When purchased, they told me it would be delivered in the morning, and they would call to give an approximate time. I received no call, so I called the store. They told me it would be delivered between 2-3 pm, and that the driver only calls 30 minutes prior to delivery. I told them this was crap. Asked to speak to manager, was put on hold 10 minutes. Called back, put on hold another 10 minutes. Called again, finally spoke to manager, told her what happened. She acted like she did not care and had no value for me as a customer. This will be the last time I set foot in a Home Depot! Horrible customer service.

The customer service in the past year has gone out the window. They are incredibly understaffed and the people that are working are very rude and do not want to help at all. Spent over 2 hours trying to buy a fridge and the lady working in that department was so rude so I had to ask to speak with her manager. So the store manager came over and didnt even acknowledge that we had been wronged by her. He was just as rude. On the way out there was 3 employees talking with the rude lady about us so I went over and asked them to stop. I then got a very rude response "THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" I said your welcom and went on my way. I wasnt about to thank someone for being rude to me and my family.

I used to go to Home Depot because they had knowledgeable and accessible staff. They cost a little more, but its worth it when there is help around and they know their stuff. However, this store is now WAY understaffed. I went in to get one thing. I needed some assistance finding it and it took OVER 30 MINUTES (not embellishing the time), I finally went to a cashier and asked for assistance and waiting ANOTHER 15 MINUTES. No one ever showed. I had to GUESS at the product I needed. (I got home and was, of course, wrong) - Finally, after I paid, the someone walked up and asked me if they could help me. Pathetic! Save yourself time and frustration, go to Menards.

Went there to get some keys for our house and they had a really nice selection of custom keys. However, we sat there for assistance for a good 20 minutes asking multiple times for help from various associates who said they would get someone over there to help us. We decided that we would take our business elsewhere. As we were leaving the phone was ringing off the hook and everyone was just standing there. I understand it might not be everyones job to help us cut our keys but even having the phone ringing off the hook gave the appearance that no one there really cared about helping others. Hopefully this is a one off event.

The Home Depot in Coon Rapids is my favorite store ever! Even my wife knows the store inside out. I have done every project possible. Deck is maintenance free and still looks new. Electricity light switches, outlets, even circuit breakers. Pluming even a new water heater with easy clamp fixtures for water lines new product at the time I thought they would leak, they did not making it easier if I ever need to replace again. Interior walls sheet rock ceiling rock lifts and rental tools. My entire house has oak built-in etc... The Home Depot in Coon Rapids is a mans favorite toy store.

I had no less than 4 associates watch me load up 15 sheets of osb and 30 2x4 while they stood there chatting and laughing less than 10 feet from me Both male and female. Then once I checked out I was asked if I wanted assistance loading it in my pickup, which I requested, however never recieved help. The store had everything I needed in way of material. I will avoid this location in the future if I have more than just a few items.

I purchased something online with free in-store pick up thinking that would be super convenient. It was not. The order took hours to fulfill. I called the store to inquire about it and their phone rang and rang and rang.. No one answers and when they do they put you on hold to listen to their phone ring some more. Home Depot, if you cant make your online services convenience then dont offer it.
